Homelite gas edger cuts off after running about 10-15 seconds

The fact that is runs slightly longer on full choke may point still to a fuelling issue.. Does it actually Rev in those 10 seconds or does it just want to bog down and stall.?

My stihl fs 56 rc was running great then just started bogging down and wont run right at all

Bogging issues tend to be fuel related. Check the fuel system from the filter to the carb, check the carb isn't blocked, check the exhaust is clear so that the gasses can escape.

Craftman 29cc weed trimmer does not stay on

Start by adjusting your carb 1 full turn out on the low and high side. This should start and let it run. Then if it bogs down while accelerating, turn the low side out another quarter to half turn. You could also have fuel line, fuel filter or other fuel issues.

Check the fuel tank vent, and fuel lines for air leaks. could also be a problem with carb diaphram.

too much drag on the edger, try putting some oil or lubricant spray where the edger spins on the attachment.

Check for a loose connection by the carb. Sounds like its sucking air.
