SOURCE: Skybox won't dispense anything
check the door where the cans come out. there is a sensor or the left side. if it is too far away from the door or if it's broken, it will do exactly what you said. i read somewhere that you can adjust the sensor closer to the door. i just bought one of the last one of these on the shelves 2 days ago and mine won't cool at all. stupid maytag..

Mine had what sounds like the same problem, and it was just a little flap next to the rotating drum that was stuck. It should be flat normally. Grab a flashlight and you'll see that there is a flap across the bin just before the drum, push it down gently so it lays flat.

I had the same problem as well. The dispenser thinks that the flap is jammed or that the beverage is stuck in the machine. There is a small magnetic sensor on the door near the flap and there should be a small metal piece on the flap itself. I fixed mine by (gently) bending the sensor closer to the flap. The sensor should not touch the metal piece, but if there is too much space the sensor always reads "open".
If that doesn't work, you can tinker around a bit to make sure that all of the connections are firm and there is not a bunch of frost caked on the circuit board. My skybox needs to be defrosted periodically, since all of the motors and the circuit board get frozen in a block of ice.
You can get to the circuit board by removing the racks as a single unit. Don't try to take the racks apart until you take them out of the fridge.
