Late to the party I guess. Lots of entries for setting the clock, but not for the alarm. Press the plus or minus button. That's it. After you have the time set, you can then press the ALARM button above the WAVE/SET button to turn it on.

I need to set the time to eastern standard time. When I do set the time it goes back to pacific time after midnight.

If You have'nt done so already. You have to go to time and date and click the Time Zone at the top
& if it shows Pacific Time America - Canada . Click the down arrow in time zone and
change that to Canbera,Melbourne, Sydney by scrolling down to see near the bottom of the page
Canbera -Melbourne -Sydney & click apply and OK

Hope this Helps

Sentry self setting atomic clock lost the instructions

Select The Time Zone - For Sentry Self-setting Atomic Clock (ATC - 10)
The default time zone is Pacific zone.
1. In the normal time mode, press the MODE key to enter the alarm time mode.
2. Press the SET key to change the time zone.
each press of the SET key will move the time zone back one hour
P= Pacific M=Mountain C=Central E=Eastern
3. Press MODE key when correct Time Zone is highlighted.

I think the Instructions may tell you to use the ADJUST key instead of the SET key.
ADJUST key does not work for TIME ZONE change, SET key works.
This will set your clock to your chosen Time Zone for normal time.
Instructions for the ATC20 are located at the following url
http://www.sentryindustries.com/pdf/instructions/ATC20_instructions.pdf

Honeywell RC182WB Atomic Alarm Clock with Temperature--stuck on pacific time!!!

I KNOW HOW TO FIX IT!

Take off the battery cover, and take the batts out, leaving the outside thermometer working...

You will have to reset everything but it automatically detects your time zone!

I just did it literally 2 minutes ago!
