Contact and provide the information, they should be able to locate the dealer who sold the radio.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Can motorola dp 3400 be trace to its last owners when conecting it

It is entirely possible if the radio's programming is read out by a Motorola dealer that it will provide the owner's information, or at least clues to the ownership. Also, the dealer should be able to run a serial number trace and find the original owner either through their own data base or by contacting Motorola.

Best regards.

I need owner's manual for HUM1250 PCS

As I know very little about this make of radio, I am not going to be much help.

Is this a tiny TOY sized Hand Held or a proper 2-way Hand Held?

If it's the latter, I can look around for specialists in this radio, but if it's the former, then it's a kids TOY.

Pay a few extra dollars, nothing under $150.00 and you're looking at known brands and better quality with technical support available.

Buy Chinese made gear, and you've done your cash for trash!!!

Cheers, Peter

Need instruction manual for cobra hand held serial

First of all, here is a direct link to the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for that model:

To view the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated and the contents of the Owner's Manual.

You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents. You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary. Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there.

Please comment back here to this page if you have any questions, have difficulty accessing the link, or just require further general assistance and I will respond as soon as I see it.

Thank you very much and good luck.

My radio is in off mode. How do i reset?

Hi Basketballve,

I did not personally know the answer to your question, so I looked on Wikianswers.

This is taken directly from their site.

must have code in owners manual
Turn the ignition to position one (accessory), turn on the radio so you can see the display, and come back in 2 hours. The display should read "CODE". At this point you must enter the code for your radio. I have owned 4 VOlVOs (1998 through 2006) and have never found the radio code in any of my manuals; perhaps it was published for earlier models.
If you do not have the code, remove the radio by pushing on the vertical buttons on the radio face. They pop out and provide a means to slide the radio forward. Copy down the radio model, eg. 813, 816, and serial number. Bring this information AND A COPY OF YOUR REGISTRATION SHOWING THE VIN to your dealer, or to any Volvo dealer. They need to correlate the VIN and radio SN to be assured that the radio had not been stolen. They can look up the the code in a database and provide it to you. If they tell you the radio is no good or want to charge you a ridiculous fee, go elsewhere.
Once you have the code, turn on the radio and enter is using the preset buttons. Wait a moment, and the radio should turn on. If it does not, the code is incorrect. This is possible if the radio you have is not the one that was shipped with the original vehicle. If so, you must remove the radio and bring it to the dealer who can reprogram a new code into the radio. Depending on the circumstances, they may or may not do it for you, because they have no proof that you are the legitimate owner of the radio.
If not, I saw an advert for who claim they just need the radio SN and will provide the code for a fee.

Hope I've helped, don't forget to rate.

Transmission with hand held cb radios

We don't know what kind, model , etc. but it sounds like the driver is fine and you blew the final transistor which is about 2 to 5 dollars plus any service charge if you have some one do this for you. It is simple if you know solidering and electronics. First we need to know the model number and then hunt for a schematic.

Hope we can help you more.

No Modulation!!

Most modulation problem could be traced to:
1. mic or the cable and/or the mic connector;
2. AMC (amplitude modulation control) - it's a single transistor that regulates modulation and occasionally has been known to clamped on the mic audio;
3. the AM/SSB switch - spraying with contact cleaner is a temporary remedy; and/or
4. audio amp - however if your receive audio is good, then this does not apply.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Without a model number, I can't be more specific as to component(s) or PCB location but pls post back for any developments (or lack thereof) or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kindest regards.
