Remove the wheels, axle, handle latch and spring. Then try to find someone that still has a power head elbow for an old hoover. I can check to see if they still have any if you call me. 1-800-353-4677 tomorrow

A loud clunking noise - the vent/filter check light came on plastic broken parts which looks like a fan or something.

Yes, your right, it is the blower fan for the dryer, something may have gotten down the filter element housing and broke it, or just from heat and time.
Yes, you can fix it if your somewhat mechanically inclined.
It is not a hard job, but must be done correctly.
I will send you a webpage with some parts choices.
I do not know where you location is so I cannot send you to the direct webpage.

The plastic cover that goes into the window broke. it connects to the hose that runs the hot air out the window. how or where can i find a replacement?

The vent termination is simulair to a dryer vent termination. Take the broken with you and visit any home center or hardware store, and I am sure you will be able to find an adequate replacement.

Roper dryer res7646k replaced heater element , cleaned duct system & blower ,still not drying clothes on an 80 min. cycle. Checked vent outlet on dryer , good hot air coming out.

If you replaced the element then you are familiar with the "housing" where the impeller is located. Check to see if there is a significant amount of lint and/or debris around the impeller. I have found all kinds of debris around the impeller and the volume of air circulating can be significantly reduced.

Pondmaster 1200gph pump stopped working. Inside

Sounds like the impeller broke.

Just remove the 4 phillips head screws to remove the housing, then pull the impeller out. When replacing the impeller be sure to have a good grip on it as the magnetic attraction will pull it in pretty hard.

The pump may still be under warranty, if so call the number on this web page: You can also order parts from them.

Kenmore Elite front load dryer

Probably a thermal fuse. You'll need a continuity meter to check it, though. Once you get one, unplug it. Remove the lower panel on the front. Beneath where the lint filter sits is your lint duct. Remove it (screws at top left and right and clip at botom center) Behind it is a white peice of plastic with 2 blue wires. Unplug them and check across the two prongs on the white thermal fuse to see if it is good. Replace if nessciary. If it is bad check your vent (dryer to wall and wall to outside) for restrictions or blockages.

Sencing light on the dryer

The thermal fuse is the most common problem that can cause this. If you remove your bottom panel (2 1/4 inch screws) and then your lint duct (the area where your lint screen sits) you will see a white peice of plastic with 2 blue wires going to it behind the lint duct. That is your thermal fuse. A continuity meter can quickly be used to check to see if it is bad. If it is bad, replace it and re-install your lint duct then run you dryer on air dry (if you run it with heat, you could burn your replacment fuse out). Then go to the vent on the outside of your house. You should be able to feel a good deal of air pressure on your hand. If not, check the hose behind your dryer for kinks or being crushed (not uncommon even on "professional" instalations. If that is ok, you will need a cleaning for the house part of your vent.
