Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Try to calibrate the touch screen. Push and hold the power button on until you see a white dot on the screen. This is the calibration mode. Touch the dot and another dot will apppear, now touch this dot again, keep doing this until the unit reboot.

If you touch the 1st dot and nothing happens then the digitizer on the LCD is dead. If the unit is still under warranty, get a RMA and return it to Garmin.

SOURCE: touch screen not working properly

I'm not familiar with the Zumo family of GPS from Garmin, but if they are similar enough to the StreetPilot, you should be able to recalibrate the screen. In the StreetPilot series, to recalibrate you turn the unit off. Press and hold the bottom right of the screen and turn the unit on. Keep pressing the screen until the calibration information begins. Try this, see if it works on the Zumos, too.

No signal

Turn the unit off

Pry off the silver faceplate and locate the reset button underneath

Hold the reset button down for 30 seconds then turn on the GPS while holding the button down.

Once the GPS screen activates you can release the reset button.

If this doesn't solve the problem your next step would be to download the latest software update from this link: www.garmin.com

NEED TO UP DATE MY STREET PIOLET

To update your street pilot maps you need to purchase software from Garmin or an authorized distributor. To install the software you will need a PC with an internet connection.

If you are in the US, look up Yachting Enterprises under GPS in the service directory. They sell the software and they can also install it for you.
