SOURCE: water spots of forks & knives and dishes not

The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.

SOURCE: Should knives/forks/spoons be loaded with blades,

I find they come cleaner with the handles down, but if you have kids they come clean enough and are safer loaded with handles up, with spoons though, always load handles down so they can get the clean water to the whole spoon.

Make unloading dishwasher much easier

My wife is brilliant. She loads the silverware in a way that I never thought of, but is very smart. I am sure most of you have already thought of this, but, I had not. She puts forks together, spoons, and knives together.Odds and ends together. When unloading, I grab all of the forks and tap the handles on the counter. This exposes the different sizes, and makes unloading much faster.

We all already know guns should be banned, but what about knifes too?

Neither guns nor knives should be banned but individual behavior of the owner should be modified.

I guess we should ban forks and knives so folks can't get fat

How do I get a replacement fork?

There used to be an online store that specialized in "replacements" in dishware. Just google since it's been a while and I don't remember the site.

I always put the handles down in hope of the spray hitting the business end better.

I'm sure there are arguments for handle up too, but I put the handles down.

The knives on my Delta jointer don't contact the trailing edge of the board. As a result the board has a convex edge (high in the middle) The tables are parallel and the outfeed table is flush with the...

The knives could be dull, you would have to be the judge of that. If the bevel & face are rusty they are probably dull. They can be honed or taken to a sharpening shop.

The outfeed table could also be too high. I usually adjust the knives above the outfeed table. I use an aluminum straight edge & adjust them using a sheet of printer paper on the outfeed table so that they are about the thickness of the paper above the table. I place the paper on the outfeed table put the straightedge on the paper & rotate & adjust each knife so they just slightly hit the straightedge when I rotate the cutterhead by hand. Needless to say the jointer needs to be unplugged while doing this.

The board could also be convex to start with. To fix that problerm start jointing at the start of the convex part and not at the end of the board.

Good luck,
Frank
