Try a reset. Hold down the power key at the same time as the round home key until phone powers down. Release buttons only when you see the apple logo, then wait a min or two for phone to re-boot. You will not lose any data on the phone.
If this does not work, try an actual system reset. Sync iPhone to computer to back up essential data ie contacts apps etc, then go to settings general and reset. Reset all settings as a last resort. This will give you a fresh start and should sort out the majority of any bugs the phone has. A resync with you computer will restore apps etc.

When i turn my 3ds on you can see all the top screen but not the bottom screen


Plug it into the charger first.try calibrating the touch screen.
you can get to the calibration menu without touching the touch screen. First, turn off your system. Hold down L+R+X. While holding these buttons down, press the power button. This should take you to the touch screen calibration menu. (See Nintendo 3DS Operation Manual, Page 15)
If it doesn't work,you need to replace the bottom screen.

please note that all games dont require the bottom screen

when phone is idle, the auto lock feature locks out the screen. you can set the time when lock engages or disable completely. To unlock, press top right corner button or use touchscreen options by sliding finger up from bottom to top or press unlock button on bottom of touchscreen

My samsung tocco lite touch screen wont work only the buttons and the camera button work i try and touch something on the screen and if it is at the top of the screen it will move if i touch by the bottom...


same thing happen's to mine, and i'v only had mine for two months :O aha, although i believe it's 'cause i got the screen wet, i mean it's happened before but, usually worked but, this time i think that the water dissolved into the phone making the touch screen not work, mine's still not fixed but, trying taking the phone apart and re-building it. Bottom touch screen has coloured vertical lines all over it


the colour fault is the bottom lcd screen but you may need a touch screen aswell if its been stood on it may be damaged have you tried touching the screen when its powered up to see if it works as this would eliminate the touch screen.

sorry to say that your top screen needs completely replacing if it is doing as described!!
the bottom screen and the touch screen are seperate, jus mounted on top of each other, so if the picture works on the bottom then the bottom screen is fine just the touch screen is broken. again i think if the cables/ribbons are in correctly and it isn't responding then it will need replacing!!

Bottom screen wont work


Have you attempted to recalibrate the touch screen?
Since you can still use the navigational buttons,
From the main menu:
1. Click the "Settings" button. It is the button at the center bottom with the DS on it.
2. Then click the "Touch Screen" button. That is the one with the Yellow Crosshair on it.
After that, proceed to calibrate your touch screen.
Let me know if that does not work.

Touch screen doesn't light up


Your problem is with the LCD behind the touch screen. The bottom scren on your DS is actually two screens. An LCD and a touch screen on top of it. Either your cable has come loose inside the DS or the LCD is possibly bad. This can be fixed.

The other option is that the electronics feeding the LCD have gone bad in which case you might as well buy a new DS. But check the screen first.

If the DS is under a year old you can send it to Nintendo for free repair.
