How Do I Unlock My Pin Or PUK Code On My Cell Phone?

When you give an incorrect PIN three times to your mobile phone it will block your SIM card, then in this case you have to provide a PUK given to you by network provider. Im getting sim card registration failed error in nokia e63

Hi, issues like this are related to your Sim card (network),
not your Cell Phone . In most cases, regarding Sim card problem is from the Service Operator. Have you tried the Sim card on another phone? If not,

remove the Sim card, insert it on another phone.
or you can do it in vise- versa by inserting another Sim card on your mobile.

If you can't receive text messages even when it's inserted on another handset,
then you will need to call the customer care of your Network Operator and tell
them your problem, they will help you fix it immediately.

If the same Sim card doesn't not work on another handset,
don't bother to change the settings or to make any changes with it,
first call the customer care and verify from them, you may make mistakes instead of fixing it.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for using fixya.......

I can't use my Nok 5230. I get a message: SIM card registration failed. I tried the SIM in a different phone and it's worked and I tried an other SIM in the Nok 5230 and didn't worked too. What can I...

this is most common when your phone is a branded phone that has been unlocked(branded being it was made to work with a particular network but was unlocked and can now partially work with other networks). in this case, the phone may find it difficult to recognize your sim card, the way the phone is made is in such a way that when a sim card of the network it is branded to is inserted, it would register it straight away but in a situation where it does not recognize the sim card, it is unable to register it. this brings about the sim registration failed.
sometimes you may lose service on your phone too depending on the level on your sim card.
if it happens that the mobile phone was not branded to any network before, then you have to change your sim card to a more developed one(maybe you get a replacement from your network provider because they produce sim cards differently.like the previous ones may not have some features or have a high level of attention and therefore needs to be changed with a more recent one)
hope this helped you? please rate
