A quick search on Ebay using the model number of the laptop will bring up quite a few screens for it. There are two designs you will have to decide on. Glossy or Matte finish. Glossy gives a more rich detail but have a horrible mirroring issue. Matte is a flatter detail but helps resolve the mirroring issue. I myself prefer matte finish on laptops due to sun glare and mirroring issues.

To replace broken screen on acer aspire 5735

First you need to get the right screen. Take out the screen by removing the rubber bumpers on the corners of the lcd bezel, then unscrew the screws that were beneath the rubber. After that you will have to pry slightly on the edges of the bezel to unsnap it and remove it from the laptop.

After that you will remove the screws on the sides the attach the screen to the hindges. On the back of the lcd it will give the model number, ebay is a good source for lcd screens. Once you get a replacement screen, you disconnect the cable on the back of the lcd and bottom, and then repalce the screen and assemble in reverse order.

Broken plasma screen

You need your Tv product code wich is located in the back of the TV next to the serial number.
you can get one directly from LG ($500-$800) or you can try EBAY, look for a TV non working with a good panel, it doesn´t matter why is not working as long as the panel is in good condition, the price range is wide but you can get one for $150-$250.

And no you can not use any 42" plasma.

Replacing HP screen

Hi there.
First of all you will need to remove the broken screen from the laptop lid, on the back of the screen you will see a serial number, note any numbers or codes that you see on the back of the screen then use your internet search engine to find a replacement screen with the same numbers or serial as yours.
When you come across one, make sure the serials correspond and that will be your replacement screen.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

NEED TO REPLACE MOTHER BOARD IN TUFF BOOK CF18 I NEED TO KNOW WHAT NUMBER OR BRAND OF MOTHER BOARD TO ORDER

its a proprietary Mother board. there for you need the exact replacement MOBO. with how old this one is. id say your going to want to look on ebay for one with a broken screen thats maybe been gutted and all thats left is a MOBO. cause you cant get it from panasonic heres the exact number and model you need CF18FHHZABE. but since its proprietary you cant go walking into best buy anytime soon. so ebay one that doesnt have a blown board and that should help. but for the cost it seems you could already be 1/4th on your way to a newer much faster and nicer laptop. - thnx Nathan

Razr2 broken cracked screen

ya, be careful. i read online use a razor blade, jewelers screwdriver, etc to pry up on it, then take a piece of paper and work it back and forth till the screen is completely removed.
remove any bits of glass, then carefully clean off the old adheasive with a cloth or your finger. this is just what i read online. i am going to try this myself when i get the new glass screen in.
