You can use a brush to clean the inside and look for any bits or pieces of component in the board. if so this will indicate the component and the relativity to the POP noise. It can be a capcitor shorting and bursting or even a transistor that has popped. The fuse being blown is due to a failure and it can be SHORT in the board. You need to use a multimeter to probe the +B and trace the short, Isolate the sections and it will lead to the shorted ccomponent.

I need a replacement motor on a KitchenAid Professional HD Stand Mixer (Model KG25H7XSL).

The loud pop was probably the soft start circuit board on the motor. You can buy this board at repair sites or Ebay. And yes, they make 220V versions of this mixer.

I have sony full hd 1080 model xbr. Will it work in Israel?

If it is a USA model then you may have problems. First you have a problem with AC power as the US uses 110-120 volts AC while 220-240V is present at the wall outlet there. Next you have incompatible TV signals. Now if all you want to do is view your DVDs then you might be OK IF you convert the power (with a step-down transformer) and the physical plug on the cord with an adapter plug as countries use different cord plugs. So as you can see there are some issues to address. Generally I'd say use a TV from over there.

HD 1080 Series (WD-55809) - Color convergence issue

I don't know of illustrated instructions but I can provide you with the service manual for your TV. It does have illustrations of disassembly and components as well as schematics. Your set very likely needs new convergence IC chips. This is a common problem with all projection TVs. The repair is not expensive ($60-75 in parts)  but does involve unsoldering and removing the old chips and soldering in new ones. Some times there are some fuses that need to be replaced as well. If you want the manual provide me with an email address.

HDTV CABLE NOT HOOKED UP/WORKING

COMP 1 and 2 are for 480i/p sources. Hook it to the 1080i capable on the back. Also make sure the HD DVR is outputting 1080i not 720p. The Mits can not disply 720p and will show a scrambled screen if you try to.

Pioneer Pro-118 won't turn on

Take off back cover. The problem power board is to the right of the board where the power plug feeds into the TV. There is a large white fuse right bend the power plug. With a meter it read ok; about 8 inches deeper into the TV on that board was the resister next to two fuses. My 4 amp 125 volt fuse did not read on my meter. After replacing, it worked fine. Check all three fuses while you're in there.
