Question about Sanyo DP50747 50 in. Plasma TV
50" plasma shows distorted pixilated purple and green colors across anything that usually shows in black or other dark colors...sometimes it is fine but other times you can't even tell what is on the screen. the tv is 3 years old and I hate to replace it if it can be a simple fix. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I had the same problem and Sanyo does not make parts for this model anymore. Luckily I had the extended warrantee so they reimbursed the full purchase price.
Weird that the poster above mine was able to get a part; I was told the part is no longer available.

SOURCE: Green tint
It sounds like the color wheel has gone bad and needs to be replaced. This is located behind the back panel... replacing a new colour wheel will solve ur problem

No sound and no video is usually means the main board is bad. Green power indicated power supply might be OK.
