Read the module number on the back of the watch. It is a 4digit number near the periphery of the circles. Visit the Casio worldwide site and download the manual for that module. Read the instruction

### HOW USE TACHYMETER & WHAT TACHYME3TER MEANS

A Tachymeter helps you estimate the speed you are going.

It uses the basic formula that speed = Distance/time

To use tachymeter, simply start the chronograph or stopwatch when the object measured passing the starting line. When the object reaches the next mile or kilometer marker, stop the chronograph or stopwatch. The point on the tachymeter scale that adjacent to the second hand of the watch indicating the speed (in miles per hour or kilometers per hour) of object traveling between the two points.

For example, we want to measure the average speed of a vehicle is moving. Start the chronometer or stopwatch function when the car passes the starting line, and stop the timer after the vehicle traveled exactly 1 mile or 1 kilometer. Then look at where the chronometer hand (the second hand of the watch) is pointing to, and get the reading or value of the corresponding number at the tachymeter bezel or dial. Let's say the stopwatch stop at 3 o'clock position, meaning 15 seconds had elapsed for the car to travel 1 mile or 1 kilometer. At 3 o'clock position, the tachymetre value shows that number of 240, which means the average speed of the vehicle was 240 mph or km/h.

### How is it possible that my Chase Durer (model 240.34BB) F1 Racing Blk, the time (hours & seconds) stopped but the chronograph works perfectly?

Aldo,

Did you ever find an answer to your Chase Durer question. I have two watches of there's that are doing the same thing. If I leave the stem out they work fine, but that leaves them susceptible to water damage. b977@epix.net thanks

### Need a user manual for the time magazine free chronograph watch

I have NO ideal what kind of watch it is so I am giving general chronograph instructions. You will have to use as it applies to the watch you were given.

These instructions are provided for users who are not familiar with using a mechanical/analog chronograph. The instructions may be applied to any chronograph that has a seconds counter, 30 minute counter, and hour counter.
Please refer to the instructions of the appropriate model to determine the location of each counter on the dial. Note: some of the features described here may not be available on your particular model. Again, refer to the specifications to see if they apply to your model.
Using the chronographe functions:
For a chronographe that has a center seconds register, a 30 minute register and an hour register. Example 1: If the hour register is between the 1 and 2, but closer to the 1, and the minute register is at 20, and the seconds register is at 35, then the elapsed time is 1 hour 20 minutes and 35 seconds. Example 2: If the hour register is between the 1 and 2, but closer to the 2, and the minute register is at 20, and the seconds register is at 35, then the elapsed time is 1 hour 50 minutes and 35 seconds.
If you are driving and want to determine the speed of the car using your tachymetre, start your chronograph when you pass a mile marker, stop your chronographe when you pass the next mile marker. Look at the center seconds hand and read the number on the Tachymetre scale, this number will indicate the miles per hour that the vehicle is travelling.
Some watches have a pulsometer instead of a tachymetre. Use it as follows: Start the chronographe and begin counting the pulse. When you have counted 30 beats, stop the chronographe. The number on the pulsometer scale will indicate the pulse rate per minute.
Some watches have a telemeter instead of a tachymetre or pulsometer. Here is an example of one use for a telemeter: Start the chronographe when you see lighting. Stop the chronographe when you hear the thunder. Read the center seconds hand on the Telemetric scale and the number will indicate the distance separating the observer from the place where the lighting struck. This can give you a good indication of how far off a storm might be.
The many uses of a chronographe:
A chronograph has many practical uses, from timing a plane flight, a car ride, or simply being curious. There are also some uses for the chronographe that may not be so obvious. For example, you can use the chronographe on your watch as a dual timezone indicator. This is done as follows: If it is currently 6 A.M. in your home location and it is 12 noon in London, start your chronograph at exactly 6 o'clock. The number of hours displayed on your chronographe hour register will then show you the current time in London. Of course, these are just some uses of a chronographe. There are hundreds of uses for chronographes.

### Reset chronograph

Hi, I had the same problem and was able to fix it by reading the manual:

Basic Settings for the chronograph hand -
After changing the battery, or in exceptional circumstances, following incorrect operation, it is necessary to reset the Chrono indicator to zero (starting time).
- Leave the winder in Position 1 (pushed all the way in)
- Press button H (top) and button I (bottom) at the same time
- Now set the 30 minute (small hand) counter to zero by pressing/holding button I (bottom button)
- You can now set the 60 second counter to zero by pressing/holding button H (top button).

This worked for me... it took me a while to figure it out, but that

### How does the swiss eta g10.211 quartz chronograph work

Hello,
I am not sure if I understand your question. Are you asking how this particular quartz movement operates?

All Quartz movements are pretty much the same operational wise. They can vary greatly in materials used for construction and number of jewels.

At it's basic a quartz watch uses a piece of quartz crystal called a transistor oscillator to vibrate a tuning fork. This vibration is a is brought down by micro processors to a meaningful number then converted into mechanical energy trough the movement and hands.

In the case of a chronograph it means more internal gears and jewels.
Although this is a good movement it is the low side of middle of the road.

The G10.211 is an analog display of hours and measured time. These include hours, minutes and a small jumping second as 6 o'clock. Mechanical date and counters for 1/10 second, 60 seconds and 30 minutes with "ADD" and 'SPLIT" functions. Operated by 2 push buttons.
It has 6 jewels.

Hope this helps.

### What are the numbers on face plate for(likes 60,65,....900,1000)?

The ones associated with the little circles? One dial is for seconds, one for minutes, and one for hours. The seconds one should be applicable for time. The minute and hour, along with the big seconds hand that is centre mounted are for the chronograph function.
