Really no way to resove. Best thing to do is to remove the battery and dry. But with iphones you can not do that. So the best is to turn it off and take it to a repair shop that can open the phone up and clean in throughly from the inside. Do this right away and not in 2-3 days.

Take the battery out and let it dry complete. That may take a few days, then try to put the battery back in and see if it turns on. If not, try hooking it up to a wall charger, if it powers on, it may be ok. If it lost all the settings and apps, you may be able to restore by hooking it up to your computer and itunes to let it resync. I wouldn't hook it to the PC until I verified the thing would work on it's own without shorting home power first.

WIth the iPhone, it isn't so easy to remove the battery so you may want to skip that step unless you're feeling up to it and want to open up the phone. If you're not willing to open the phone, remove simcard and holder, place the phone standing up (speakers down) on a towel for a few days, this will allow the best opportunity for liquid to escape through the speakers.
If you are willing to open the iphone, do so on a towel and clean all the individual parts and ensure they are all dry. wait a day or two before re-assembling.

Iphone won't turn on, just blue screen

Did it get wet. that sounds like something that would happen if it got wet. if you don't know that it got wet you could shine a light into the headphone jack and look for a white sticker. if wet the white sticker will have turned reddish

My iphone got wet now light is so dim i restored it and everything but it is still dim i can do call and receive calls everything else works great execpt for the light what can i do.

First, check your brightness setting. Usually I'd give some other troubleshooting tips, however the fact that the phone got wet tells me that the screen itself has water damage. A good trick (something I've done many times) is crack the screen then take it to the Apple store and ask for a replacement. They have a "One-time exception" and will replace the phone for free. Hope this suggestion helps :)

Wet (damp) iphone no sound!!

This has been happening a lot with Iphones and also with the microphone input. either u need to update ur handset or revert to see if this is the problem...

Also save all ur info on your computer and do a master restore from the computer on itunes.

Call customer care.....If you are still in warranty Your item can be replaced......I dont think water is the problem because you would have issues with your screen ..I do not sufggest saying that is the reason either because apple does not cover items if it is water damaged.

Go to this specific page to talk with an apple expert. of these problems are not resolved.

My iPhone got wet. No sound except from the phone.

Obviously the components of the circuit board are short circuited by the liquid damage. Generally once liquid gets on the circuit board, corrosion spreads like a cancer. If iTunes cannot restore it, the handset is as good as gone. Insurance to replace your iPhone is the best option here.

Iphone 3gs will power up when attatched to wall charger, but just shows white apple when not connected do I need a new battery? it got wet recently,

Thats a strange problem.

I would suggest to restore your iPhone using the iTunes. This will wipe any information on the phone (iTunes should back up any data).

You then restore it and your data should be restored with the new install. This might fix your problem

Iphone got wet and touch screen will not work. Can this be fixed

Yes, if you bring it to the apple store, the will basically replace the phone for you for a charge of up to $200.
That is there basic response to iphones that has gotten wet...
If they determine it is another defect not associated with getting wet, and the item is still under warranty, they may replace it at no charge.
Hope this helps.  Let me know how it all turns out.

Iphone will not restore

Try restoring in DFU mode, which is different than recovery mode. I happened to stumble across it while trying to restore an iPhone 3G that a user unplugged in the middle of the 3.1 update. It kept showing an error of 1611 or 13 and wouldn't restore in recovery mode. I found this DFU mode option and the restore worked fine. The DFU mode keeps the iPhone OS from loading, so you don't run into as many compatibility problems. Go into DFU mode, then try restoring the phone and see if that works.
http://techierambles.blogspot.com/2009/09/restore-iphone-with-error-13-or-1611-in.html
To enter DFU mode:
1. Connect your iPhone to your computer
2 . Turn iPhone off. You may have to hold the power and home buttons down together to force the phone off
3. Once the phone is off, hold the power and home buttons together for 10 seconds exactly
4. After 10 seconds, release the power button but keep holding home until the computer recognizes that a USB device was plugged in
5. iTunes should detect your iPhone correctly, and also allow you to restore to the factory default settings
