SINCE YOUR SOFTWARE UPDATE, OUR BLUE RAYE WILL NOT CONNECT TO INNERNET. IT DID UNTIL LAST NIGHT AND NOW WILL NOT. SO SICK OF MESSING WITH THIS!!!

Are you sure it is the netflix software update that has caused this? You have ensured your router is connected to the internet and your internet connection settings on your Blu Ray player are correct? If so have you tried removing Netflix to see if it cure the problem?

How does one stream netflix via Blu Ray wired to ISP through a tv?


First you have to hook up network cable to Blue Ray player and to router
Next update software in Blue Ray player by going thru your menu in blue ray player to settings
If you have your blue ray player with Netflix app then all
you do is click on app and log in.
And make sure HDMI cable is plugged into TV.
And that should work for you. Any problems write me back.

These errors can be as simple as an incorrectly typed password to more complex issues with the Netflix service itself.
Credential Problems

Many login problems are caused by an incorrect email address or password when attempting to log in.

This can be due to typos or other misspellings, or recent password changes that were forgotten. Netflix offers the ability to recover passwords and usernames via the "Need Help Signing In?" link below the login fields on the Netflix home page.

Clicking the link allows the user to recover her password by entering her email address, and also gives the option to advance to a second recovery screen if she does not have access to that email address anymore.

The second screen allows the user to prove her identity by entering the first name, last name and credit card number associated with the Netflix account.

Service Errors

Login problems occasionally occur due to errors with the Netflix service itself.

When these problems occur, a message appears that explains a site error has occurred, directing the user back to the Netflix home page.

Cant find icon to connect to netflix


you must update you Wii software to get Netflix to do this , go into the Wii channel and log to options then select system update. select I Agree the Wii will connect to nintendo and will update the sofrware.you will then have Netflix.

Describe how to update blue ray player


Software Update Instructions
    • WARNING!! Do not power off the Home Entertainment Server or disconnect it from the AC power outlet. Doing so may damage the Home Entertainment Server to the point of requiring repair.
    • WARNING!! Do not press any buttons, except as instructed, until the update is complete. Doing so may damage the Home Entertainment Server to the point of requiring repair.
    • The software update process usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes, depending on system configuration and network connection.
    1. Power on the television and make sure it is tuned to the inputs to which the HES-V1000 Home Entertainment Server is connected.
    2. Connect the LAN terminal on the HES-V1000 to your Internet source using an Ethernet cable.
    3. Power on the HES-V1000 Home Entertainment Server.
    4. Press "HOME" to go to the Home Menu.
    5. At the "Home" menu, select "Settings".
    6. At the "Settings" menu, select "System Settings" and then press "ENTER".
    7. At the "System Settings" screen, select "Software Update" and then press "ENTER".
    8. At the "Software Update" screen, select "Network Update" and then press "ENTER".
      Note: The network connection display appears.
    9. Select "Yes" and press "ENTER".
      Note: The server starts to check the version information.
    10. At the version confirmation screen, select "Yes" and then press "ENTER".
    11. The software License Agreement appears. After reading the content, select "Agree" and press "ENTER".
    12. The software update is downloaded and automatically starts updating the HES-V1000 software.While the software update is downloading:
      • "DOWNLOADING XX%" appears on the front panel display, indicating the progress.
      • If the download fails, an error message appears on the screen, and the display returns to the Home Menu.
      When the software update is complete:
      • "VERSION UP FINISH" appears on the front panel display, indicating that the update was successful.
      • If "VERSION UP FAIL" appears on the front panel display, repeat the update procedure above.
    13. The system will power off automatically.
    14. Power on the Home Entertainment Server again.

Will not connect to netflix via samsung blue ray dvd


You need to register your device with netflix to enable streaming. You may have a firmware update to install as well to enable this feature. Once enable the player should have an option to provide a registration number to the netflix url.
