Hi zunaid , I want to help you with your problem, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?

I am a little confused here with what you are asking.

First - Is this a brand-new motherboard that you just installed? If so, are you trying to load a newly installed version of Windows and what version of Windows is it (ie. XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8)

Second - Are you saying that it will power on with the switch after clearing CMOS but then after it initially powers on it shuts off and won't power on again until you clear CMOS again?

Third - What size power supply do you have and who is it made by? If you could please take a snapshot of the inside of the computer so that I can see the connections and upload it here. The sooner you do answer these questions and the sooner you upload a snapshot the sooner I will get this resolved for you. :)

I agree with Mike, but would like to add a couple of things. I had the same problem with a Gigabyte board (new install) and found that I had to change the CMOS battery. I put in a new batter, and "voila" it worked fine after that. Also, not knowing your level of experience, make sure the front panel connections are on correctly. Generally speaking, if you look at the lettering on the plastic ends that plug into the board pins on the front panel connector, the lettering should face the edge of the board and not be facing the middle of the board. That too has caused a similar sounding problem in the past. Other than these two potential solutions, more information is definitely needed.

How to replace the 4pin power connecter on Gigabyte GA-A75M-S2V

You can buy this connector on line - try and they might even have it in store / for pick up. Is it damaged on the power supply side or the motherboard side? A new board or new power supply could also be a fix.. Hope this helps YA

[img src="" width="80%" height="1"> Try manually clearing the CMOS on the boards. Refer to the board's documentation if you do not know how. This can be done by moving a jumper on the board, or if the board has an onboard CMOS clear button, depress the button a couple of times.
Also try the sticks of RAM one by one in all of the slots to see if any of them are able to boot. If they can boot, then make sure your RAM is set to the manufacturer's recommended defaults. Then try two at a time, and so on.
If you have an aftermarket heatsink, it may be too tight on the processor. Try either loosening the screws a bit, or try testing with the stock heatsink that came with your processor.
Please notice that if you have a P55, H55, X58, or the SR-2 you MUST populate the Primary memory channel first, which is the non-black memory channels.

My Gigabyte Mother Board shows some time Load Optimized Defaults then boot / Load Optimized Defaults then reboot / enter BIOS. How to fix it?

Two things come to mind first. Number one would be making sure you have the most up to date bios. Number two would be that maybe the motherboard battery is dying/dead and isn't holding enough charge to after being shut down to save the option you selected.

Try a different monitor, just to remove that from the equation. If that doesn't work then try an add on graphics card. it will save your computer.

My board is IBM rev. 2.8 pn 19r2563,i just clear the cmos, after that the board didn't boot anymore,no power at all,,please somebody help what exactly the problem is..

Look on the board for bloated or leaking capacitors- these are caps that have an x on the top and a yellow or brown substance out of them. If the are fat they are bloated. Next, I have had this with bad power supplies. Try another power supply or put that one on a power supply tester if you have one. It will tell you if all the voltages are there. It only takes one voltage missing to give you major headaches. If the unit is old try measuring the CMOS battery. A dead one will not let the computer boot but that is after power will come on.
If you have a bad capacitor on the board it will be needing replacement- I fix them but not everybody goes to that trouble.

I have upgraded to Windows 7 and also a new Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2-B3 Motherboard. 4GB DDR Ram I have plugged my Cambridge Soundworks SW320 in but I only get some sound, eg all music and back ground sound is...

Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2-B3 Motherboard supports 2/4/5.1/7.1-channel HD audio, whereas Cambridge Soundworks SW320 is 2.1 (only). Hence, the PC should be configured to provide 2.1 Channel output. The audio of your system may be configured to 2.1. So, please check the Realtec Audio sound manager/ configuration from the control panel or from tray (near clock) and set it to 2.1 (2 Channel Stereo Output).
Moreover, audio on your PC may be running on default HD Audio Drivers. So, you may also download/ install the latest drivers for Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2-B3 Motherboard.
(Refer to download section at the bottom of the page). After installing audio drivers, you would be able to configure the audio.

Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!

The mother board and the fan also need replacement. If you have recently added any other hard ware to the machine, remove it and try booting again.
