Open control panel and go to display. You can reset the screen resolution there if your monitor will accept it and your display card will generate it.

SOURCE: everything is blury have to set screen resolution

The optimal resolution for that LCD screen is 1280 x 1024, any lower resolution will result in jagged/blurry images due to the Pixels being hard wired in an LCD.
To help make text larger you can set the DPI setting to 120 from the default of 96 and also use the cleartype tuner to make the image clearer.

Resolution capabilities are a complicated blend of the abilities of your graphics card and the abilities of your screen. You will not always get a 1:1 match. You can improve your chances by installing the "monitor information" file that is usually supplied on a CD that comes with the monitor. Also, updating the drivers for your graphics card (see the manufacturer's web site) might help.

What is the recomended resolution display setting for my Acer X193w monitor

Hi there,

A computer monitor is made of pixels (short for "picture element").

Monitor resolution is measured in pixels, width by height. 640 x 480 resolution means that the screen is 640 pixels wide by 480 tall, an aspect ratio of 4:3. With the exception of one resolution combination (1280 x 1024 uses a ratio of 5:4), all aspect ratios are the same.

Hope this initial information helps. Let me hear from you again for any clarifications.

Thank you for using

Display resolution goes from 1024x600 to 800x600 at start up.

try reinstalling the drivers for the onboard graphics and for the monitor. Might be the monitor is not supporting the default resolution.
