Question about Whirlwind FH-778 Air Conditioner
Power was out for 3 days from storm; fan is now blowing, but no cooling. I've checked breaker inside and at condenser; thermostat appears to be working. what else should I check?
Ok if you have split system if indoor fan runs then transformer is working you have 2 breakers 1 for indoor and 1 for out door also disconnect at unit may have fuse in it if all seem ok remove side cover and look at capacitor if sweeled up bad take an insulated object and push in contactor if runs check for 24v from common to yellow stat wires also look for reset button next to freon lines hope this helps
