Question about Uniden BCD396XT Handheld Scanner
I have tried the owners manual, but so far nothing seems to work. I am not sure if I am reading the correct section. The rest of the "bank" (SO on the screen) are all numbered, but the one I need to get into shows as an asterisk (*) which in other places means it is locked out. I am trying to figure out how I locked it and then unlock it.
Not sure if yours works the same as mine, but simply pressing the number button of the bank you've switched off will put it back into the scan again. So if you a dash or "*" instead of say bank #6, simply press the '6' button while it's scanning and it will be back in the scan. At least that's how my old one worked. Let me know if it works for you too. Good luck. You can also go to 'radioreference DOT com' and there is a Uniden scanner forum there I believe where you could also ask your question. 73.
