If the mobile phone does not switch on, it is called a dead mobile.
It can be due to many reasons
1. Water damage
2. Fall down
3. Not used for a long time ( Mostly battery is down)
(1) Check the Battery. It should show 3.7 volts or as written on the battery.
(2) Check the Battery Connector
Check two things (a) Voltage coming or not (b) shorting
Note : If there is shorting then clean the circuit in ultrasonic cleaner
(Remove display, camera, etc before putting it in ultrasonic cleaner )
Clean the circuit with a soft brush and make it dry with a hair dryer or ****er.
If the shorting doesn't go it may be due to shorting in an ic,capacitor
or circuit. if shorting is in ic u can check it by attaching a battery
then press the on-off switch keep the battery for 10-15 seconds. after
that remove the battery and check which ic becomes hot. Reball or
replace that ic. If shorting is in circuit it must be removed by
Note - The circuit is made of three layers. if there is shorting in the middle layer it cannot be removed
(3) Check the On/Off switch & voltage at on-off switch
Note - Connect a charger. If charging is shown on display then the problem is with the on/off switch or software problem
(4) Try flashing the mobile.
(5) If flashing cannot be done then there is hardware fault we first dry
solder the Flash IC & RAM IC and check in the Software. if flashing
cannot be done then we dry solder/reball/replace flash ic & RAM
ic.After that dry solder/reball/replace Power IC, Network IC, Crystal,
If the battery is good and charges and if there is no way in which the camera is coming to life then it is possible that there is a fuse link failure within or a control board error, the first part can be checked by opening the camera with the proper tools and checking from the battery power, but if thei seems ok an dpower feeds to the controller board, then the IC can be faulty.
Either an error occurred during charging, an AC power disruption occurred during charging, the wrong AC power adapter is being used, batteries are over- discharged, batteries are defective, or no batteries are installed in the camera.
Try charging the batteries a couple of times. If that fails, try charging the batteries in an external charger. If the batteries still will not charge, purchase new batteries and try again
theres no choice your battery charger is may be out and try new battery and try the power cable from the charger and connect directly to the cam if you got the original power pack/ for the green screen it can go green or bleu when the battery go low, some time that is the video processor ic...
i hope for you it just the battery....
and good luck
i had the same problem, if you try to turn the lens in as if you turning a dile, the lens will go back in manually once you have the lens completly in again, as if the camera is switched off, then turn the camera back on at the power button and the camera will operate as normal, this worked for me i hope it works for you too.
It's a deadly common problem of D90. Fixation:Simply go to the DSLR repair shop and ask them to change the power circuit board of the camera. Will take $60-70 if the board available. Reason of issue:The power control IC get short and feedback the battery power to the battery causing the draining out and other problem like the top LCD back lamp turned ON after turning on the camera. Careful:To avoid this issue in future, after full charge of the battery, do not put it in the camera right then. Wait for the battery to cool down for 5-10 min and then put it in. With the full charge, the battery hold high ampere for a short time. It could damage the power distributor IC suddenly if you put it in the camera right after a full charge. when u insert battery and turn on you told the battery icon will blink so try giving reset once ....
i think the firmware has got corrupted .... you must install the new firmware to it ... after trying giving the reset option if problem persists then check whether there is connectivity with the pc or not ....
contact the service show room and get install the new firmware for your camera then it will work .... and before have a check whether it is charging or not when the battery icon blink ... if there is no charging progress means then there may be problem in the charging port or may be the charging IC is damaged .... if it is charging then make sure that there is no problem with the charging port if not you must contact the service showroom and you must get replaced the port ...
any doubts reply me i am always here to assist you thank you bye
