My speedometer stopped working where should I look to see if maybe there is a loose connection?
Where is the speedometer connection ? I want to see if something is loose or disconnected but not sure where to look, I think there should be a connection to the pedal or wheel but ist does not show it in the manual, does any one know where I should look'

check for a loose wire at the back of the cluster, it will look like it is still in the connector but it is not all the way in, I forgot witch pin it is but it is in the middle row or bottom and about the 5-8th pin from the left, Hope this helps
sonda to me you have a bad connection at the gauge when you push on it it makes the connection for a while after a few bumps in the road it looses it's connection. pull the instr.panel check your conncetion. if not replace gauge. hope this help's
perhaps a vehicle distance sensor located in transmission however if you have a check engine light on I would hook it up to a OBD 2 scanner to retrieve the fault code gue$$inglis not the way to go! the vehicle might have 2 of these sensors Vehicle input and output sensor be sure to check the speedometer cable to see if it is still functioning internally that would be totally mechanical!!! cable with in a cable! hope this helped you out!
see my comments, not 100% sure that it was the out put speed censor or not, but after reconnecting the wires to a new censor and reconnecting the battery and clearing codes it worked. connection was not clipped may have been loose
