Forget calling Moultrie...I think their answering system is permantly set for "off-hour" times...you may have to e-mail them several times be fore (after4-5 days they get back to you.
You're error should read error"0200000"...flash error or flash charging...getting this during system diagnosis probably is that you failed to cover sensor during ck.
I f this is a constant error...turn cam on; remove batteries; turn system off; insert batteries and try again. .

Before installing a sd card, internal memory MUST be erased. From setup, use the up/down buttons near the select button until the display reads "ERASE ALL PICS(MEMORY)? NO" toggle up or down button to get"YES", press the select button and wait until until it says "DONE".
Go to setup screen, power off, intall sd card...should be good to go.

SOURCE: my Moultrie camera turns itself
Don't know what causes it, but I have 2 cams that are doing the same thing. Batteries are 95%. Don't know if has anything to do with cold weather. Haven't had this problem in the past.

Tips for a great answer:
Slide the UNLOCK switch on the bottom of Camera and use the knob to pull the slide-out
Battery Tray. Install eight (8) AA size alkaline or lithium batteries with polarities as
indicated in the Battery Tray. Re-install the Battery Tray and insert your SD card.
We recommend that you format the SD card inside the camera before taking pictures
