Question about EverFocus Home Security
We have a EDVR9D1 EverFocus unit. We have a user that we would like to set up to view just one camera. Is this possible? Could a firmware upgrade solve this?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I had a problem getting mine to boot but got it working by removing battery and removing AC, then pressing power button. Then plugged in AC and pressed power again. It boots. Then replace battery and cover.
As far as manuals, the official site is below. I'd download a new firmware upgrade and install is from another computer. Sometimes the computer downloading and running an install is
compromised and the virus scanner is not aware downloads are getting damaged upon arrival to your local hard drive.

SOURCE: nokia7710 upgrading
Get it upgraded from Nokia Care as they do it with their computer with minimum risk against your doing it over the net. I got my E61i busted doing that and thats how I learn this lesson. Go to www.getjar.com and you will find all the SW for 7710 that you will ever need.

According to the Pentax web site, there is no firmware update available for the 33LF camera. As far as your pics are concerned, you can use a card reader to download them to your computer. Then, you can format the card in the camera and everything should be ok.

Thank you for such a nice description of the problem that you are facing ,
Now as far as your caution regarding condensation is concerned , it's really appreciated , in addition to that you can take the below precautions with regards to preventing condensation.
Condensation occurs as a result of the fact that cold air is unable to contain anywhere near as much vapor as warm air.
Now to stop condensation you should realize that you should stop the flow of air so that the surrounding does not affect the camera or it's lens.
Now the easiest way out for you would be to get a AIR TIGHT , SEALED plastic bag for e.g. Ziploc Bag.
There are other substitute like a parka or down vest which have not been used for few days.
Also you can check out waterproof camera cases for that matter.
So now what you need to do with the above items with you , is that before taking out your camera to an environment that is different or warmer for instance , you need to place all the camera equipments or the camera mainly in the sealed plastic bag and make sure that it is completely air tight.
Then after doing the above step you can take your camera into a warm environment , but remember that you need to wait for some time while you open the sealed bag , usually 10-15-20-30 minutes or till the time you are sure that the the contents in the plastic bag have got the temperature equal as that of the outside environment.
To make this fast you can first remove the new camera and the new lens from the box or boxes before you actually place them in the container.
Hope this suggestion helps you out with the condensation problem ..:) It has really helped me out.
