SOURCE: Micro SD not reading

If you are unable to access/view the contents of the card, chances are, it needs to be reformatted for it to work again, which means, data will be loss. You may, however, try to search the web for a data recovery program which you can first try to use before reformatting the drive.

SOURCE: change in sdhc memory card capacity

Go to the scandisk website and get the format tool.

If you got this card for something besides computer, you use the devise to format card and not the computer. Ex-phone.

Format card with phone.

If you got this for computer, you should have gotten a flash drive.

SOURCE: Sandisk 4GB card reads full when it's empty.

I would suggest reformatting your disk to your camera. We have had those issues and it has cleared it up. Be sure any pics on your camera have been backed-up as you will loose all pics while reformatting. The key is to reformat your disk to your camera (use the camera's menu to located the reformat disk section)...do not use the computer. Hope it works!

SOURCE: 4gb micro sd card says its "full" when its empty

THIS WILL MAKE YOU LOOSE ALL FILES!!!
(even password)
Take the memorycard out of the phone and,
put it in a computer.Use filesystem FAT-32
to reformat your memorycard.
Now the card will work again!
No password, No files will be left after a
complete reformat
This is your solution! Please vote!

How to unlock the micro sd memory card's password

Sorry. You can't. But you can usually recover use of the card by inserting it into an external SDHC card reader (using a suitable micro SDHC to SDHC adapter) and then refomatting the card. You may need to use the host computer to go into the cards properties first to uncheck the "read only" status.

This makes all data stored on the card overwriteable as if it's no longer there, but there is plenty of free/cheap data recovery software which can recover data from reformatted memory cards as long as the card has not been used after formatting.

Where can I insert my mini sandisk memorycard into my toshiba laptop? I see no slots for it.

If you have no SD slot on your laptop, you will have to buy an external USB SD reader. They typically cost $5-$10, and are readily available online (e.g. http://www.buy.com/prod/micro-sd-sdhc-card-usb-reader-for-1gb-2gb-4gb-8gb/q/sellerid/23962916/loc/101/213271933.html) or in almost any store with a good selection of electronics.

UNABLE TO ACCESSMY 4GB MICRO SD CARD

Your memory card reader lacks SDHC compatibility. You must either update your pc card reader to one which is compliant with SDHC or use a cheap external card reader to do the job.

SD and SDHC cards look the same and fit the same slots, but they have significant technical differences which older readers cannot handle.

Cannot install 4GB card into TL220. Do I have the

According to Samsung's page on this camera, the following memory can be used:

External Memory(Optional) : Micro SD (up to 4GB)
Micro SDHC (up to 8GB)

4 GB is acceptable, but I think you do not have the correct type of card. You should be using a Micro SD or "Micro Secure Digital" (up to 4GB capacity) or a Micro SDHC or "Micro Secure Digital High Capacity" (up to 8 GB capacity) card. This is very different from an SD or SDHC card. These Micro cards are very small (smaller than your thumbnail) and are often packaged with an SD adapter card. Regardless if sold with or with out the adapter, the package should say Micro SD or Micro SDHC on it somewhere.

I dont know how to use my sandisk to transfer from my cell phone to computer. which chip goes into the comp. usb port. the adapter or the transflash?

Some pc's have card reader slots which allow you to simply take the card out of one device and insert it into the card reader slot on the pc.
After this is done, the memory card becomes accessible.

My cell phone has a Micro SDHC card slot but my pc does not. In order to access the M-SDHC card from my pc I have to insert the card into the USB adapter that was provided with the Micro-SDHC card when I purchased it.

After the card has been inserted into the USB adapter, I then plug the USB adapter into an open USB slot on my pc which gives me access to the files on the Micro-SDHC card.

It is most likely because your card is a SDHC (NEW ) and your reader is just a SD.

Problem with reading Sandisk 4gig hc micro sd card in my computer and laptop

I guess you put the SD adapter into the card reader right out of the box? You first may have to partition/format it after unpacking it. Under WinXP I can recommend an utility "DiskPart" which you can start from the command prompt (Run... -> cmd). For further instructions (if it sounds to you to be the problem ) contact me again.
