I plug my ps3 into my sony lcd tv with a hdmi cable and it doesn't work. The screen is all blurry. But when i plug the ps3 into a different tv, then it works.

It may be that the resoultion of the ps3 is set to match the different tv. It could also be the settings on the first tv. verify that the resoultion settings are the same on both tvs.

Connecting pc to grundig32 tv - msg out of range

I am going to suggest with that message, the the TV does not understand the signals it is getting from the PC.

Reboot the laptop while connected to the TV, and turn the TV off, then On, while the PC is connected. If you continue to get the message, look in the manual for the TV to determine the reason for the message.

After using recovery disc and rebooting computer, the windows are larger than the screen. this happens to all the windows that I open. I have to continue using the arrows to align each window and even...

This is caused by the resoultion of the graphics card not being set to suit your monitor.

Right click on the desktop, and choose 'properties' from the list

a new dialog box will appear called 'display properties'

along the top is a series of tabs, the last one is called 'settings'

click on this and you will then see details of your screen resoulution.

Halfway is a slide bar called screen resoultion
for example..

less -------|------- more

move the slider untill the numbers change to 1024 by 768 pixels

to the right is another box called colour quality - change this to 'highest (32bit)

click apply

click ok

the screen will briefly go black then you will see the desktop, you will get a confirmation box asking along the lines of 'do you wish to keep these settings' click yes to this

have a play with the desktop, open some windows and see if they are now fully visable to you without having to scroll.

You can go back and change your resoultion anytime you want, by following the above. But take note, some monitors will not display all the resoultions in the list, you will get a message to say if it is or not. Just play with the settings untill your happy.

Hope this helps
