Place heating element on dometic 2652 . The 2 heater leads j7 and j8 need plugged back in. Does it matter which goes where? they are both black wires

heating elements are simply resistance wires and allow current flow in either direction
so there is noconsideration for polarity
either way will be correct

How to wire six wire to three wire termenal

I'm pretty sure this thermostat uses digital communications with a dometic control board. In other words, there are no contacts in the digital thermostat to turn something on and off. Even if you ran a 12VDC wire to the thermostat for power, it won't work to replace a "real" thermostat. I bought one to replace my old analog thermostat and it's not going to work for me.

The Dometic DM2652 doesn't have temperature controls. My 2008 model freezes alomost everything on the top two shelves of the refridgerator. I use a low volume air circulator. Is there a way to lower the...

I have the same model in my 5th wheel. I found a white plastic piece on the far right side of the metal slats inside the refrigerator. This plastic piece has some kind of a probe attached to it. The white plastic piece slides up/down on the metal slat. There is a sticker next to this thing on the right side of the refrigerator (inside) that shows a range of "colder to coldest". I think if you slide that piece up/down, that is what controls the temp inside the frig.

I have a DuoTherm BriskAIr 13.5K BTU. The Dometic thermostat also controls my HydroFlame 8531-IV furnace. This morning, the furnace would not come on. I checked the wiring and there is no voltage at the...

If you look at control box at roof unit, they usually use a separate set of wires for furnace. See what colors they are attached to at harness to thermostat. Some just follow other harness, and come out at thermostat. (bypass control box) Once you've determined which 2 they are, join them together & see if furnace starts, as it should. If it does, thermostat is faulty. If not, pull outside cover off & check voltages at furnace. I'm guessing by furnace model that your unit is approx 30 ft , but if it's a park model, you may have 24 volt system on furnace or 12 volt. Another way of confirming is to go to back of furnace where air intake grille is inside your unit, and locate 2 blue wires going to furnace & remove whatever wires are attached to them & connect them together. Furnace should start up.
