Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: Printscreen will not print

In the old DOS days, Print Screen would send a copy of the screen to the printer.

In Windows, Print Screen sends a copy to the Clip Board.
So, what you need to do is open an application like WordPad, MS Word, Paint or some other program and Paste to a new file. Then you can print the image from that file.

A side note: The PrintScreen key captures the whole screen, the ALT-PrintScreen key combination captures only the active window.

SOURCE: Authorware Printscreen doesnt print actual document fullsize

Try printing document thru your printer rather than Printscreen feature. Or Printscreen feature copies to clip board which you should be able to open and paste to new document then use your printer set up to adjust. Make sure your printer set up is set to scale to fit page.

You need to press PrtScr or Print Screen button to capture the screen to the clip board. I believe on your laptop you need to hold the fn key down to select it. On the bottom left of the keyboard is a key that has fn on it. Any key on your keyboard that has a second function will need the fn key to access this second option. PrtScr button should be on the top row right hand side of the keyboard with a box drawn around it.

Hold down the fn key and press the PrtScr key and then you can paste it into a document or paint or whatever. The PrintScreen function works in all versions of windows I have ever used, from Windows 3.11 for workgroups to Windows 8.

Welcome to FixYa!

To use the printscreen function of your laptop do the following:

1. Press the "Printscreen" key (or "Fn" key and "Printscreen" key if it is written in color blue).
2. Open MS-Paint (Click start, programs, accessories, paint)
3. Press "ctrl" and letter "v" to paste the captured screen.
4. You can save the captured screen as an image (jpg, gif, bmp) or you can print it.

Thanks for using FixYa.
