Battery problems

This is usually due to the battery not holding very much charge (when fully charged) or a fall in the voltage of the laptop battery. Do you keep it plugged into the mains much - this can dramatically reduce the battery life. If you need it to run off battery I would consider replacing the batterty pack - try ebay

Im using windows 7 for past 2years!! From today moring i getting error reporting CONSIDER REPLACING YOUR BATTERY!!! Till yesterday it was working fine!!!

This is easy ... you should consider replacing your battery. The reason is your battery is getting older and it is deteriorating. Batteries start deteriorating as the moment the close the package and call it a battery. Be thankful that your battery is cooperating with your operating system and is giving you ample warning as to its condition.

Just saying battery life low consider replacing, only had laptop 18 months, did`nt think it would need replacing in such a short spell.

Run the computer only on the battery, until it is exhausted.
Fully recharge it.
Run the computer only on the battery, until it is exhausted.
Fully recharge it.

These "deep-cycles" may give the battery-life a "kick". Maybe.

Check the web-site of the manufacturer of the computer.
Maybe, there is a "known" problem with that particular model of battery.

Do a Google-search for the part-number of the battery, to see if anybody has posted comments about poor battery-life for that part-number.

If running only on batteries is "important" to you, then consider replacing the battery.

When i plugged in my laptop for charging,a note appears in the charging icon that says "consider replacing your battery"? is there any remedy regarding the problem of my battery without replacing...

Hi! Well for this one let me ask you first . Is the battery is beyond 1year? If it is then consider replacing your battery is the answer of that. But if not you can call your manufacturer as all the battery has it 1 year limited warranty. Just to let you know all the battery is consumable, sometimes it depends on how you use it .Hope this will help you. God Bless.

Once plugged, there is a red sign on the battery icon saying "consider replacing your battery".

Hello,

Laptop's batteries have their own gauge to tell it's condition. Once a battery is already messing up, the gauge will tell you that it has a problem and it needs replacement. The power in the battery won't last long anymore. Just observe it by removing the ac adapter.

Someday, your battery won't hold any power anymore. And you need to replace it with a new one.

My battery telling me; "consider

That will be the laptop measuring the energy stored in your battery and it is less than the level it is set at.
It doesn't mean it will fail imminently just that it is not as good as it was when new.

My laptop shows red cross sign in battery and says consider replacing a battery!!what to do does it have any solution and battery life has decreased to 50 min. from 2 and half hour,i bought it just a year...

Hi there,

If the message says consider replacing the battery, I guess the battery life is about to end.

Its good to replace the battery if you have used to laptop for more that 3 years now. Normally that is the max battery life.

However, if the laptop is new and still under warranty, you need to contact your vendor for possible free replacement, since it is abnormal for the battery to wear in such a short time.

Also make sure the replacement battery is perfectly compatible to your laptop. Your vendor can guide you more.

I have replaced batteries in the past. Remove it from the laptop and get the number off of it. Then you can go and Google the number to find a reasonably priced replacement.

Hope this helps you.

My blackberry pearl went off and will not come back on. The battery was fully charged

Take the battery out. wait 30 seconds. Put the battery back in, turn it on. Then, consider replacing the blackberry with something that's worth actually owning. (Sorry, im bitter. That last part is my personal recommendation, not technical advice)
