Question about Konica Minolta Office Equipment & Supplies
On the finisher the exit trays are stuck. They will not slide down. It appears that someone removed them. When they tried to put the trays back in they got stuck and still have about a foot to go down but they won't move. How do I get these trays to seat properly?
Did someone leave a trash can or boxes under the output trays? To solve this problem requires removal of the rear cover of the finisher. Then remove the elevation drive motor assemble. Be careful don't want the output trays to fall!!!!!! Then while placing them in their proper position re seat the drive assy. The top tray should be just below the orange rollers (If they are cleaned) you will see several actuators the top tray has to just touch them
RECOMMEND A TECH!!!!!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

NETWORK settings --> EMAIL SETTINGS --> SMTP and set
- administrator email address

your problem maybe caused by a thermistor near the pressure roll in the fusing unit (the red roll).
Try the follow procedure and if it doesn't fix call minolta service.
1. Turn OFF the Main Power Switch.
2. Turn Main Power Switch ON while pressing the Utility/Counter key.
3. Touch [Trouble Reset].
4. Check to make sure that [OK] is displayed and the it has been reset.
5. After turning off the Main Power Switch, turn it on again more than 10 seconds after
and check if the machine starts correctly.

CD231 at power up.
CAUSE: Complete fax kit was not installed.
SOLUTION: These three items make up the complete fax kit, FK502, MK706 and MK704. If not installed together, the C250/C252 will display code CD231.
hope that helps

CDC## Appears to be trouble related to security.
The only solution is to contact Konica Minolta to find out what needs to be done to resolve the problem.
That is only solution the service manual has provided.

C-2555 relates to a low toner density in the yellow imaging unit. I'm sure your daughter pressing buttons did not cause it.
I suggest you release the yellow imaging unit (the bottow row of units)
Just realease and pull it out a little way. Then switch the machine on with the door open. It won't start, but will ask you to shut the front door. Reseat the yellow imaging unit and shut the door. The machine should go in to a stabilization mode and then work.
However, if it comes back, I suspect a new yellow imaging unit will be required.

Error code C1183 means finishing option elevator drive malfunction. It appears due to tray lift motor failure on the finisher. To trouble shoot the issue turn off the power and open the elevator section to check the elevator motor. Wait for 2-3 minutes and check if the issue is resolved. If this doesn't work then check the alignment of front and rear rollers of the finisher. Also make sure that the finisher exit guide rollers are fine & the paper is exiting properly, open both rear and the front cover and check the lower gears attach is the up/down drive belt. Sometimes this error may appear due to a broken lower gear by the pin slot. Hope this helps...
