I just changed the O2 sensor on my 1996 Nissan PU. Even though it was fairly accessible it took a bit of mechanical ability to do it. I used an open end wrench (at an angle) and channel lock pliers because of the confined space.

How to replace the crank sensor?

opel. 1.6L

if the PCM scans ,cranking for 5 long seconds , does NOT throw
CKP sensor bad DTC errors, id bet its good.
why not trust the PCM to see those missiong pulses and tell you;.
call EFI gas cars do this. and do it well.
the crank sensor on all engine can be in 3 spots.
front,. rear and middle of crank.
a fast look finds this easy.
did you even look?

1.6L dont say much. there are 7 , 1.6L opal engines.
Z16SE/X16SE 62 (5400)/138 (2600) Z16XE/X16XE 74 (6000)/150 (3600) Z16XEP/X16XEP 76 (6000)/147 (3600)
if hell bent on swapping it out, why not buy one, ?
they will ask you engine exact name(above) or VIN and sell it to you
then look at the connector, id bet you can find it , on the engine now
with knowing the pin count and shape.
on some harder cars, FWD, the sensor takes removing the transmission to see the sensor. bolted where not easy to change.
that is why we do the tests. first. not guess.
got a scan tool ?do the tests. ask.

wild guessing see the gold looking sensor. this might be it.

Replacing Vizio IR sensor

the sensor can only be replaced by removing the rear panel and then there are two screws that secure the IR board to the front bezel. Takes about 10 minutes from beginning to end very easy replacement.

Check engine light on code shows o2 sensor how to install

depending on whitch o2 sensor it is, its fairly easy, you can purchase a special socket at any auto parts store specifically for this, then its just a matter of removing it from your exhaust and replacing. i would recomend swapping the bad one with a good one before replacing, to make sure that it is the o2 sensor and not a different problem with the vehicle :)

These sensors do go faulty quite often on GM cars. Replacing it is easy and inexpensive as well. Very littl amount of cooland will be lost when changing this sensor

My 2002 Mazda MPV recently developed an engine shake when stop at intersection or driving 45mph or slower. My mechanic scanned and found OS2 code, vacuum leak, replaced the intake hose, reset engine...

You might try another mechanic if this one can't get it fixed. Shaking is usually caused by one or more cylinders mis-firing for whatever reason--usually faulty ignition or fuel injection. Has the engine had recent tune-up? Bad spark plugs/plug wiring are frequent villains. Not sure what an 'OS2' code is. Hope this helps!

On board sensor for windshield fluid

The sensor may still be bad even with cleaning, as this is an electrical part, Since the sensor only checks for a low fluid level, it should just be like an on-off switch.  You can check it by removing the sensor from the Jeep and checking the resistance or continuity  across the 2 wires, is there is no change when you move the float up and down, then the sensor is probably bad.  If the continuity changes then the sensor is good, pointing to a deeper problem like a short in the electrical system or a bad body control module.  Good Luck!
