Disherwasher will not work

Yesterday I loaded my dishwasher and pressed start is started in the first cycle and then stopped no lights on and dishwasher is full of dirty water , nothing will work I checked all the electric connections and they are working, I looked into the control panel but nothing seamed in error, the only thing I have noticed is the control buttons start and cancel do not seam to be working right, all the other ones when I click on them feel right maybe that is my problem but I am not sure . So if any one can shed some light my way it would be most helpful.

What you need to do is take the cover off the front by removing the screws on the back of the door, then remove the cable that connects to the control panel. Then power it back on and see if the pump comes on briefly. If it does then the control panel is bad, if it does not then the power transformer is suspect.

I am getting a 5H in the panel where the time cycle usually is and when I hit start it won t start

I think your dishwasher is in delay start mode. Some dishwashers can be set to start at a later time say for instance while everyone is sleeping. See if your control panel has a button that says delay start. If YES--just keep pressing it until it clears. Some go as high as 12H which is a 12 hr delay.

Disherwasher will not start

Are you sure it is the Dry light that is lit, or is it the little Lock symbol located ABOVE the Dry button that is lit? If it's the latter, you can turn off that light (turn off the control lock) by pressing and holding the Dry light for 4 or 5 seconds until that light goes off.

Green start button won't stop blinking

START/RESET status indicator light flashing

You have pressed the indicator light flashing START/RESET pad while the START/RESET dishwasher is running. This will cancel the cycle. The light will stop flashing after the dishwasher drains (about 90 seconds).

Press the pad once to start the dishwasher. Press the pad a second time when the dishwasher is running only if you wish to cancel the cycle.

Power to the dishwasher was turned off while a cycle was running and power has just been restored to the dishwasher. The blinking lights indicate that the dishwasher is draining the potential water inside.

The light will stop flashing after the dishwasher drains. A new cycle will start automatically.

Good luck

Dishwasher stops after it starts

Your dishwasher is probably draining during the wash cycle. This is usually the result of a worn out diverter valve.

You will have to reset the console. To do this, close the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash
-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cyle finish (1-2 minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.

I just read this for the same problem: push sanitize, then heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, cancel, then open and close the door. It worked. The dishwasher is running correctly even as I type this.

Sounds like the electronic controls (smart card) are acting up. Try shutting off the power at your fuse box or shut off the circuit breaker for 1 minute them turn the power on again. This fix quite often works on electronic appliances.

Dishwasher will turn off

Mami, first see if you can put it through a test cycle by pressing the heated dry button six times and then press start. 88 will display. This will test all the funtions of the dishwasher. Let it do it's thing for approx. 20 minutes. Wash motor should run. If it doesn't call for warranty service so you don't void it. It's possible something got messed up during installation. Catriver..post back.
