Question about HP LaserJet 3030 All-in-One
My Laserjet 3030 prints faint/lightly it will print light images whether it is coming from a computer or is one of the demo/configuration pages. However when using it for copying the copies come out just fine. I can't seem to figure out where the issue is coming from. I have tried resetting defaults, and since the copies are coming out fine one would think the toner and fusers would be ok.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Re-installing the print driver will not solve a flashing light. If the printer is functionally ok, it will come to ready simply by plugging into the wall. It sounds to me like a fatal error at this point.....could be a long list of things, but I would lean towards a formatter board. bottom line with this printer at this point in it's life is, if it doesn't work, it's not worth fixing. Replaceable for about $100.

Your description indicates that the problem is with the printer driver settings.
Go to Start, Control Panel, Printers and check the setings for Economode and ReT. The should both be off or Economode=off and ReT set to Med or Dark.
This should fix the problem. Let me know if this works or not and we can try something else.

when the printer give you a yellow flash that should be means a fault happen so you have to do the following:
1- check if any messages appears on your computer when you trying to print something that should be help you. if not go to step 2
2- black paper may be come from the (P.C.R.) that is the charger of the drum, so if you can open your cartridge and check the charger at the op of the drum that will be good and if not you may change the cartridge and check again.
3- Also, you can release the cartridge and look inside the printer may be you can find something wrong or something need to fix
4- Other wise go to hp help center
