I assume you're talking about the light behind the display. It can be repaired, but do weigh the labor cost against the price of replacement. Possible failure causes: bad connection between main board and display, LED driver chip failure, open LED. Best case: somebody didn't properly latch the LED cable connector on the main board and the cable has slipped loose. Worst case: the driver has failed but is not available on the open market, or an LED has failed and the display turns out to be permanently assembled with glue so you can't pull the back off to find and replace the bad LED. (I don't know if this is the case because I've not had this model apart before.)

Open display back panel carefully and change lights red marking here in this. Remember one thing to do this job, please be ensure that light controller integrated stage is working well then change or check LED (light emitting diode) on display. There are 4 LED with series you can check faulty LED with check meter. At connection with meter probe LED lights show us. There on light emitting diode(LED) Regulated voltage are equal to battery voltage- 4.2. There are series of LEDs if missing one LED then All series is damaged.
Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced.
+11v LED - Indicates there is +11 volts supplied to the display board. If this
LED is not lit verify the following:
1. The display cable is damaged or pinched, disconnect the
display cable and verify if the LED lights up. If LED lights up
replace the cable.
After the above has been verified and the +11 LED is still “OFF”, the
MCB should be replaced.
