From what you describe it sounds like that the computer is overheating when you start a game. Here are some links with pictures to show you how to clean out your computer.

SOURCE: Graphics card stops responding
Do you remember what you were doing on the computer before this started happening?
Try installing updated drivers from ATi:

Your PC keeps restarting because while playing your video card is highly solicited, and this causes overheating. The solution to your issue is to buy a cooling fan and attach it to the cooling grid.
If this solution worked for you please rate it. If you require further assistance feel free to post a followup comment.

I will take a stab at this, I advise that you contact Nvidea about this issue and COD 4 also, so they can get programmers working on it, it is very important you supply them with all your components you are using to see if they can reproduce your error, also be aware there could be hardware issues internal to your machine you may not have been aware of IE. the mb may have some bad caps or the Nvidea card may have bad caps , but I think it is a video processing error that either Nvidea should be aware of and COD programmers, they will want to know if the new drivers are having problems, and with what game. or games, my recommedation woul dbe to keep with the older driver and wait for a replacemetn it seems that the other games will run on the old 169 ver. Newest drivers are not always compatable with the newst game they can have issues for 6 months or for ever if no one informs teh game designers and teh video card designers.
I hope this helps, mozzilla is not needed...but it hink you know that...
