Video Card Ok here is what's in my computer : Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium , Version 6.1.7600 Build 7600 , OS Manufacturer Microsoft corp. , System type x65-based PC , Processor AMD Athlon IIx2 255 Processor , BIO's AMI P01-b2 6/1/2010 , SMBIOS Version (2.6) 3100mhz,2 cores 2 logical processor , ram 8.00 GB , Total physical memory 6.38 GB , total virtual 15.5 GB , available virtual memory 14.1 GB , page file space , 7.75 GB , Video card intergrated Geforce 9200 , Trying to install a XFX R7740 core edition ghost thermal low profile PCI Express 3.0 ,1 GB DDR5 , PSU-220 I do have a 250 PSU but not installed , My computer does have the PCIEx16 slot , I tried everything to get this new video card to work does it even go with my computer and if it does will someone walk me threw how to install it , it does have the ATI catalyst install manger am I using it wrong , please someone help me ...

    I am guessing that you need to go into the BIOS and allow the onboard video card to work with the add in card. You may need to disable the on board card.

First of all to say....that your second assumption may be the right-one. Please contact either your Processor Vendor or your Motherboard Vendor to check your Motherboard or your Processor's compatibility to each other. If this combination goes right......then there may be problem of correct assembling. Please check all the connections before starting your computer. We are not able to give you just the proper solution because we are assuming some possibilities as we are helping you from far away.

You should take it back to the guy that did it and have him format the drive to remove eveything from it then reinstall XP from your manufacturer disks.

Check with some quality video card companies to see which cards are compatible with your motherboard. You might find you can't get a very good quality card or maybe you might find some quality cards you can install yourself. Its only a couple of screws. Mostly is it compatible with your motherboard.

Well you didn't hear this from me,but download driverguide pro from demonoid.com. Other solution is to try to find the driver on Asus's website,good luck with that. I tried for ya.

Did you try to enter to BIOS setup,maybe your settings of your usb was disable,change it make it enable,exit and save ,then restart your computer.
