Question about Tablets & eReaders
We live in a disposable world now. Try taking it in somewhere. Dont be surprised though if it costs more to repair than it is worth or they say it cannot be done.

SOURCE: screen going nuts
The connector is damaged. The connector was meant to only rotate 180 degrees and only in one direction. You are partially correct. The wires are twisted. Probably beyond repair. You could open up the laptop and the screen and look at the wiring and the connectors and see if they have just been dislodged from the connectors. Typically they are sliding connectors with film type wiring. You pull out on the connector to release the film. Otherwise, you are in for a rude repair bill.

You can update graphics driver, if that does not fix the issue check the display on external monitor. If the external monitor works fine you can isolate checking the display in BIOS Setup scree (Restart your computer and keep tapping F10 to getinto BIOS). If the same issue in BIOS, you may have to change display of the unit.
