Is it a 32 or a 34 Gig card? Does it say SDHC or SDXC?
because the SDHC should work, but the SDXC can't work in your camera.SDHC cards go to max 32 Giga byte. Above 32 G, it is SDXC.
Please don't forget to format the card in your camera the first time you put it in the camera.
Don't trust a format done in the computer. Or even formatted in an other camera from the same brand or same model, can cause trouble.

My Fujifilm s5000 camera turns on but when I go to take a picture it turns off. I can view my pictures but can't take any.

Your memory card or internal memory may be full. I've run into situations where the card full doesn't flash on the monitor or LCD screen because there is lets say 3 gigs of memory left but the picture you are taking is 3.5gig's it won't take the picture because there isn't enough memory to put the image anywhere. Download your pictures to your computer, format your memory card and all should be good again. If you are using the internal memory you will need to obtain (buy) a memory card for your camera and download from the internal memory each picture from the memory card one by one until all the internal pictures are on the removable memory card then download these to the computer. After you have them on the computer go back into the internal memory and delete each of thse pictures and you are ready to start taking pictures once again. it took me longer to type this then the process will take to do.

I have the M530. It came with a free 4 Gig memory card. I have the memory card inserted and recently, the camera came up after taking only 9 pictures saying " internal memory full". it will not...

Your camera is using the internal memory instead of the card. To get it to stop doing that, with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, in the future, don't use it again....always have a card in the camera.

Brand new memory card

I have the same problem with the same camera. I checked other sites and it seems that the C330 takes only SD cards up to a max of 1GB. It won't read SDHC cards and it won't read SD cards greater than 1GB.

Not reading the memory card

You need to get rid of the pics in the internal memory. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions. Now, your card should work properly.

Internal Memory full; No memory card in; Will not take pictures;

You need to get a memory card and promise to never use the internal memory again....it only causes problems as you have found out. When you get the new card follow this procedure: 1. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions to format the internal memory. 2. Insert the new card and do the format thing again to prepare the new card. Happy photography!

I have a Toshiba 8 GIG memory card. I used it

When you removed the card from the computer, did you remember to use the "safely remove hardware" procedure? Also, you should never wait until your card is full before downloading...you run the risk of the card becoming corrupted. Your options now...1. Get a separate card reader and see if you can download your pics with it.2. If not, take the card to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak Picture kiosk machine. Insert your card and you should be able to see all your pics. From there, you can make a cd of them. Then, format your card in your camera to return it to factory specs.

"Read only card, change to internal memory to capture"

This error message indicates that the memory card in the camera is write-protected. To take a picture, turn off the camera and insert a new card, or change the storage location to internal memory.
