To set your homepage back is very simple all you have to do is to choose Tools in your Firefox browser, then Options, select the Main tab and click "Restore to default" in the home page field. And this is it .

Have prob gaining fast access to my gmail from laptop. have to search through scrolls before i get site which auto brings up my account

Not sure why you're doing searches for gmail access. You obviously have never been shown how to use a computer properly. Stop searching for gmail.
Go to the google page. If it isn't your home page then type in the ADDRESS bar - NOT the search bar - google.com. This will bring up the google page for your country. Click on the gmail link in the top right of the page. It will take you in to your inbox or it will ask you to log in.
Once you're at your inbox, bookmark the page so you have it for future visits.

I want to take inbox off as my home page and get yahoo back. I did the add/remove option. It deleted it from there but when I go on line inbox still comes up

Your browser has been hijacked.
It's less likely to happen if you get rid of Internet Explorer and use Google Chrome instead.
Click on the link below and choose a removal tool that isn't located on some page of inbox.com:

Want tool bar for inbox removed,it keeps appearing,i never ask for it !

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

I am sending you the link for install/uninstall your toolbar for inbox from their site.

http://toolbar.inbox.com/faq.aspx?faqid=2876&faqmod=wst_install

You are going in manually to uninstall it. A lot of people are having issues with this service. They are

finding they have to completely wipe out inbox from their computers with another uninstall program

because it gets so far in their computers (adware). If you need help with this, let me know.

Hi benfeero
I' m currently not using Google Chrome , just the standard version . If I click on the Google Toolbar , I get access to the toolbar options \ general and can :
- set Google as my home page
- set Google as the default search engine .
Back in the home bar above my home page , I can click on
" safety \ in private filtering settings " and block any ennoying crappy stuff .
If you download " RevoUninstaller " , you can manage all autoruns with the autorun manager ( click on Tools ) . If Inbox.com appears in the program files , RevoUninstaller will radically get you rid of it :
http://download.cnet.com/Revo-Uninstaller/3000-2096_4-10687648.html . Works on all Windows versions , including Vista and W 7 .
Best regards ,
fanaudi .
