You need to ck to see if you are getting 12 volts to the lights themselves first before you change parts , could have bad wire or fuse ck them first

do u have a good ground do a continuity ck on that on the light and body could be a bad wire since you have good voltage to them that is the only thing left ,

did you just look at the fuses , I had a issues with some lights in the past and did a eye ck on the fuses and they looked good not blown however one was no good I took a test light to the both sides of the fuse and low and behold it was bad , I would switch it out if it is not the ground , they are the only 2 things that is could be ,

82 f250 taillights not coming on. Brakelights and all other lights working...checked fuses..checked wiring.replaced light switch just for good measure nothing.

For your tail lamps, the brown wire shows to be voltage, should go hot when you turn on headlamp switch. The black wire is ground. Use a test light, if you haven't already, check voltage and ground.
The tag lamps use the same voltage as tail lamps.

2008 ford ranger headlight relay bad? Lamps do not light up, checked BULBS..OK no left highbeam Left and right lamp fuses ok and hi/lo 30a fuse ok

Did you check the fuse circuit for voltage, use a testlite or something.
I posted part of headlamp wiring. You understand your dimmer switch is involved in the circuits.

Check your blinker switch in the steering column. I had an old Ford Galaxy that the brake lights quit working on and it turned out to be that.

88 ranger has no head lights or running lights. or dash lights

Click on the link.
Usually on older vehicles, the headlamps don't use a fuse, but, fusible link, as shown in the diagram. Usually the park lamps and instrument cluster illumination are fuse protected, like the diagram shows, Not only check the fuses, use a test lite to check for voltage at fuse and at fusible link. The wires on top of switch in the diagram are voltage to headlamp switch, the wires on the bottom is voltage from head lamp switch to component.
Usually one of the wires from Battery positive goes to fusible links, at the moment, I don't have location.
Hope this helps, a little. I just want to add voltage and ground both are important.

Ok, today I replaced/removed several exterior lights: 1) I replaced the left headlight 2) I removed a burned out bulb from the high mount brakelight (local part store was out of stock, coming in...

I can help you out with the left turn signal not blinking. Maybe it's a flasher or the light bulbs aren't getting current through the wiring.

I can't help you out with the interior gauge lights not turning on when you turn the headlamps on. It may have to do with the headlamp switch, though.

I've never seen the lights on the radio not dim when the headlamp switch is turned on. hm.

Good luck on this repair.

98 ford lariat. Headlights stopped working. running lights come on and brake lights and turn signals. checked all fuses under dash and under hood, pulled out headlight switch and it looks fine. note only...

Is this both the high beams and low beams that do not work ?

If you checked all 3 fuses with a meter ( with the headlamp in Low position for both low beam fuses or in high for the high beam fuse ), the next items to test are the MFS ( MultiFunction Switch ) and the main headlamp switch ( test not look at it ).

Your ranger'nt have a relay, you need to check the grounds to each light or you simply need two lights,or a dimmer switch.Check for power with a test light and if you hahe power replace the light,if you don't replace the dimmer switch.
