On some Acer laptops pressing alt+F10 or alt+F8 as soon as the laptop starts will trigger a factory restoration process. On others you can press F8 to get advanced start up options, select "Repair My Computer", from there you will be asked to select your username to logon, sometimes there are then extra options there in the repair enviroment to restore the computer to Acer factory settings.

How do I reset my iPhone 4

Just to be clear a "hard reset" will remove everything and restore your iPhone to its factory settings.

Settings - General - Reset
Here you will have various options, the main ones being:
  • Reset All Settings
  • Reset Network Settings
  • Erase All content and Settings
    • Selecting "Erase All Content and Settings" is what constitutes a Hard Reset. Your phone will ask you to enter your passcode, and will then ask to confirm.
