I ran a sample this morning and the LDL result was " n/a" . Why am I getting this reading? Did I do something incorrectly?

Ldl result was n/s-why is this?

My cholesterol level is 5.5 and I am 63 yearsold is this bad

That is NOT a cholesterol level. You need to reask your Doctor what your total cholesterol is, and what is Your LDL level, and your HDL level.

What should my cholesterol level be ?I am 72 and active playing tennis twice weekly

It depends on a few things
1. is this total cholesterol or a fraction (HDL, LDL)
2. what units you are giving numbers in. If it is in mg% that is an amazing number for total cholesterol. If it is in "equivalents", the level may be high.
