Question about Electrolux Ovens
I have an Elecrolux EOU43002X built-in double oven. Recently the bottom oven stopped heating up so I bought a new element. A friend fitted it (the old one had indeed blown) but when we powered the cooker back on at the wall the timer/clock panel didn't come back on. There is still power to the cooker as the top oven/grill works fine, as does the cooling fan. Could replacing the bottom oven element have damaged something in the clock/timer? I used a genuine Electrolux part. A new clock/timer unit is expensive so is there anything else I can try? It seems like an unlikely coincidence but now the timer won't work we can't use the bottom oven at all.

there is a safety stat/fuse on top of the oven exterior i think you will find that it also has blown. Make sure you have isolated the appliance at the fuse board first though, Good Luck

SOURCE: Upper oven elements don't heat
Hello- 'Successfully' sounds like you were forewarned.... During the 'self-clean' cycle a circuit or connection to the upper elements burned out while attempting to turn stuff inside the oven to ash. Since this is a wall oven my recommendation is for service from a good tech in your area. You may have lucked out with a fried connector, but many times control board is damaged beyond repair and must be replaced. Only on-site diagnostics will confirm, and this is a very heavy unit for most owners to safely service. - Remember- Don't use 'self clean'!! Scrape and clean with soapy water and cloth. Turn on oven to 450deg. for 30 min. Much safer. Less costly. Please acknowledge this post if the info is helpful- Have more if needed. Thanks- Ed
