I have a Kodak Ektagraphic with no model listed on it at all. How can I find a replacement bulb, all I can find look wrong.

Supplied with 82V, 300W EXR lamp Projection Lamps Quartz-halogen 82 V projection lamps- Here is service manual link http://resources.kodak.com/support/pdf/en/manuals/slideProj/manual/ektagraphic_sm.pdf Several different Models all say EXR 300W As CORRECT Bulb : EXR, 300 W (35-hour lamp life at full lamp/medium-brightness) Sampling of other lamps: EXY (200 hours/less brightness) EXW (15 hours/maximum brightness) FHS (70 hours/medium brightness) Use combinations of lamp brightness, plus half- and full-lamp settings to approximate image brightness in multi-projector presentations. Lamp Tips • Projector operation on line voltages above 125 volts greatly reduces the lamp life. • Unplug the projector before changing the lamp. • Allow for unrestricted flow of air to the exhaust vent to prolong lamp life. • Gently wipe off any fingerprints with a soft cloth moistened with rubbing alcohol.

How can i turn down contrast on my laptop

Acer Aspire one

Brightness is controlled by the Fn and arrow keys.

Contrast can be controlled from the software.

FN key, + left/right arrow key's

other Acers

Log on to your Acer laptop and click on the "Start" button. Choose "Control Panel" from the menu.

Double-click on the "Display" icon in "Control Panel" and select the "Settings" tab.

Check the "Color Quality" settings and make sure they are set to either medium or high.

The high setting will give you better color quality and contrast, but it will also use more system resources and shorten battery life.

If you are operating on battery power you may want to move the setting to medium.

Hold down the "Fn" key and press the right arrow at the same time.

This key combination will increase the brightness of your screen.

To decrease the brightness and contrast, hold the "Fn" key down and press the left arrow. Continue using these key combinations until you have found the optimal setting for your laptop display.

hope this helps

if the check engine lamp is on and the problem has been corrected, remove the black ground cable from the battery for 5 minutes and reconnect this will reset the ecu. if you are refering to the oil change, look in the manual there are a few proceders for the different models.
turn the ignition key to on not start and press the gas pedal all the way down and up 3 times in 5 seconds, turn the key to off then than start, the oil life reset will will show and everything will return to normal.
there is also a selection in the digital odometers to scroll trough using the trip reset button in the cluster, when you reach the reset oil life hold the button in until "oil life reset" has flashed.

HP compaq 6710b - Hi I can't adjust the brigthness of my screen from my keyboard anymore. I used to be able to hold down the "fn" key and then press "f9" to decrease or "f10"to increase the brightness. Now...

You may have a defective CCFL backlight, it may have the following symptom: Screen flashes on and off or displays reddish pink hue. Picture stays on in red and slowly be come normal. Picture flickering with dim display or appear black. Picture flickers on and off. All these symptoms indicate that the LCD backlight lamp (CCFL Lamp) has reached the end of the life and all you need to do is replace the CCFL lamp.
To determine if the video card or the LCD is faulty, connect an external monitor to your laptop and power the monitor up first then the laptop, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight. Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight. It could be a faulty inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out; usually the CCFL lamp fails before the inverter.
The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills.
