I would suggest not turning it up so loud the next time and post the model and manufacturer information so we can better help.

There may be fuses that blew, replace them but do so with the same type of fuse, going to a different fuse will probably destroy your unit the next time you turn the volume up.

SOURCE: Please Help about a Yamaha DSP-A1

The A1 has an internal self diagnostic program which you can go through to find the fault. You can access the diagnostic program by simultaneously pushing some buttons on the front panel. The Yamaha service manual for the A1 tells how to do it and what the diagnostic codes mean. You can get a copy of the service manual on the web from several suppliers for a small fee.

Your friend was probably right, the receiver is telling you it is in digital mode. Try switching to analog input, make sure mute is off

SOURCE: My Amplifier is in good

Cleaning the contacts may help. The volume knob should pull off. Once its off use a non-flammable contact cleaning spray to clean the contacts behind the knob.

Electronics and automotive stores should have this.

Samson G-Track recording volume issue

Try using a computer with a dedicated sound card, not an onboard sound chip. A condenser mike can't provide very much power on its own, and requires power from the attached receiver/amplifier.

Protection overload and the system shuts off

Reasons: 1. Short in the wire, speaker, or amplifier 2. Amplifier malfunction 3. Overload of the amplifier 4. Overload of the speaker
Listening to audio at loud levels requires more power obviously. But the speakers and amplifier may not be rated or capable to handle it due to age or design.

Heats up

It's normal for amplifiers to heat up during normal operation. If you power up the amp and let it idle (no audio) for about 5 minutes and it remains cool, the heating (when listening at high volume) is likely perfectly normal.

let me know if you have any other questions.

Car amplifire when conected to nokia mobile music player and when sound level increases of the mobile device the output sound cuts and plys also plys very low sound

Mobile r not good for playing music in a heavy system because Mobile has not a good sound quality as iPOD and others players have, also all mobile has not a capacity to play with amplifier, and the sound output of your mobile is low there fore u r getting low sound. If your amplifier has its own volume control then u can increase it from there. It is best to use iPOD. Thanks

Amp sends power to sub at low volume. but when volume is increased speaker loses bass and distorts REALLY BAD. Still has power but clear bass disperses. just sounds terrible at even lower volumes

are the sub speakers ok? if ok then u have a problem with the Amp and the output IC's will have to be checked there cud be a problem with the input card in the amp.

Soundstorm amp

Your D-SERIES amplifier was designed to operate efficiently at loads down to 2 Ohms.
This means that you can install four 8 Ohm speakers per channel when using parallel wiring.
of an additional 10W to each speaker.
Please note: The gain control of any car audio amplifier should not be mistaken for a volume
control. It is a sophisticated device, designed to match the output level of your audio source unit to
the input level of the amplifier . Do not adjust this input level to maximum unless your input level
requires it. Ignoring these instructions will result in an input overload to the amplifier, and excessive
2 Ohm Operation
front panel will be illuminated, indicating the amplifier has gone into a self-preservation mode.
these conditions before attempting to power up the amplifier again.
When operating at 2 Ohms, the amplifiers will increase their output power by approximately 50%. The
current draw will so increase by about the same amount, also be sure you have enough current to
run the amplifiers into a 2 Ohm load. If you lack adequate current, your music reproduction will be
distorted.
Increasing the number of woofers per channel at low frequencies (up to 100MHz) produces an acoustic
coupling effect. This acoustic coupling increases your power output by 3 dB per speaker, or the equivalent
audio distortion. It can also cause the protection circuit to engage.
