I have a Chef oven EOC624S*04. Whats involved in changing the hinges on the doors as the door wont close properly. Also where can I buy these hinges from

they probably only need to be cleaned,or the door cleaned, open the door 10 inches and lift the door off and you can inspect them.

Self cleaning

There is a SAFETY INTERLOCK, if you opened it then locked... Is that what you said? It can not clean if the door is not locked.

If you unplug the stove and this will give it a reset. but you may have done some mechanical damage that you will have to inspect to see what it is doing. Is the Locking handle working properly? Is anything jammed ? Ect... Look at the Mechanical components first...

Oven door does not close properly

When you say "oven door does not close properly", do you mean that it closes but not tightly against the rubber seal on the oven cavity?
Or is it some other closing problem?

If it is the former, then it is a sign of the door hinge springs wearing out. The solution to this is to replace both hinges on the offending door.

I am getting a E1 F5 error on the oven - what is the cause?

E1 F5 error is indicate that door latch is not working

This may display if the door is not shut properly, if it is jammed or if the spring-loaded mechanism has broken. Make sure door is completely closed and switch is closed. Test latch, solenoid and actuation switch (require an ohm meter to test).

Considerations: Try opening the oven door and shutting it while putting pressure on the center of the switch until you hear a click. Jiggle the latch to try and reposition it so that it shuts properly. Examine the latch to make sure it is properly attached.

Prevention/Solution: If none of those methods remove the error, you may need to replace the door latch. Visit the Whirlpool customer service website to find the correct part you need.

Hope this helps.

Can't open the oven door with an F9 and beeping

Here's the info from the service manual

"Fault Code: F9

Likely Failure Condition/Cause:
1. Door motor failure / jammed. Latch
motor switch failure.
2. Control software failure, or component
failure (relay stuck).
3. Wiring Problem.

Suggested Corrective Action:
1. Press CLEAR key.
2. If CLEAR key does not eliminate problem, turn off power for
30 seconds, then turn on power.
3. Check wiring of Lock Motor, and Lock Switch A and Door
Switch circuits.
4. Unplug P4, apply power (L1) directly to the Lock Motor, if the
motor does not rotate, replace Lock Motor Assembly. Plug
P4.
5. Check Lock Switch A for proper operation (do they open and
close, check with ohmmeter). The Lock Motor may be
powered as in above step to open and close Lock Switch. If
the Lock Switch is defective, replace Motor Lock Assembly.
6. If all above steps fail to correct situation, replace control."

We have a classique oven and it wont close properly. It stays open about 25-30mm can you please give us advice? thanks

I presume the gap you are talking about is at the top of the oven door. If so, this means that the door springs are worn/lost their tension. The only way to fix this is to get the springs replaced.

Oven door not closing properly

If it is a drop down door with hinges on the bootom of the oven door, then it is likely to be weak door hinge springs, the usual solution is to replace both hinges.
If it is a swing open door, then the problem is related to a worn or broken door catch, or worn striker pin.
