Question about Saeco Royal Coffee Bar Coffee Maker, Espresso Machine

Ventilate message, but no air in system

My Royal Coffee Bar will only brew, steam, or rinse for a few seconds. The cycle will end early, and it will display ventilate. The message will not go away unless I run the hot water cycle until the display says watertank empty. The next coffee cycle will then abort early and start the ventilate error again. I also discovered that it does not matter how much hot water I use to clear the error. The key is to make the magnet in the water tank drop while the hot water is running. I can clear the error by just using a toothpick to force the magnet down while pumping hot water. Does this sound like a bad flow meter? If so, is it hard to replace?

The ventilate message shows however the steam wand and hot water dispenser both work.

HI Sorry, but that sounds like a bad flow meter. The flow meter is not that hard to replace, with a little common sense, but the new flow meter should be the brass one. There are some tricks to getting the top back on, Pull forward on the bypass doser chute a little so it will center in the opening. You don't have to disconnect all the wires that go to the top. They are long enough that the top will set behind the machine carefully. Remember the tubes that go to the flow meter. You don't want to get them backwards.

I have a Seaco Royal Professional coffee machine and it is telling me to ventilate, what does this mean and how do I fix this problem?

Just try to pour some hot water out from the steam wand after some seconds the veltilate massage will go out. This mean that any steam or air blocked in the water system must get out from steam wand.
Good luck

My Saeco Incanto Sirius machine keeps asking for yet another VENTILATE cycle

This means the water cannot flow through the machine. Normal fix is to prime the machine (turn water dispenser on, fill a cup) or descale the machine. Go through the menu, select descale, enter, then turn the steam knob fully anti-clockwise. You should put the descaling solution in the water tank first.
If you have the auto-descale in the menu then run it. Run the solution through the machine twice. Then rinse well.

You need to push the hot water button on the machine panel to allow water to run out of the steam wand. After a few seconds the machines ventilate message should clear.

Keep getting ventilate message - won't ventilate and cannot operate steam or grinder w/ ventilate message

Try this run the hot water cycle for a few seconds, it that works, try steaming if you get the message again clear it by running the hot water cycle and then go to steaming, this time push in on the knob after you open it, it that works, then the tap rod or the valve assembly needs to be replaced.

Hi,

I think you have get air in the system, try to find a bellows pump or similary. Fill it with water, open the steam knob and take of the water tank, put the pump in the water inlet and press. When the water begins to flow, close the steam knob and put the water tank back.

After descaling the Saeco Royal Professional, all features remain functional except for the coffee dispensing. It will grind and the brew unit will go through its usual cycle, but no coffee will get...

The first descaling cycle likey dislodged some calcium which then found its way into a valve or water line. A second descaling cycle resolved the problem.
