Question about InFocus Play Big IN76 Multimedia Projector

1 Answer

Just bought off craigslist, was told it was a bulb, replaced bulb, still nothing.

Grabbed the infocus IN76 off of criagslist, was told that it was a bulb problem, replaced the bulb and still will not turn on. not even a blinking light... Does anyone else have any idea what this could be? Or have had the same problem and fixed it? Thanks!!!

I suspect that the power supply in the device has failed. Try going to this web site for further troubleshooting possibilities:

Good luck!

SOURCE: my infocus in76 projector had a blinking red light

replace the lamp and blow the dust out of the projector with canned air. if it still won't light, replace the power supply/ ballast, or send it in for repair. either way, try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

SOURCE: My InFocus IN76 just started displaying yellow and white dots.

are the dots pixelated or blurred? if they are pixelated, you have a dmd chip issue and will have to replace the whole optical engine. if they are blurred, it is an optics problem, most likely the colorwheel. that can be replaced individually. you can get parts from an infocus service center or send it in to one for repair. either way, try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

I recently bought a infocus in1 audio projector and i cannot get sound and picture together. only seperately by pressing the input botton

Sounds like you have the video and audio plugged into different inputs. For example the video is going to video 1 and the audio is going to the audio input of video 2

If you get only video one input and only audio on another input... Then the above described connection is the only thing that would cause this to happen!

Cheers
