Question about Heating & Cooling
I have a aux unit & it shows e6 on the display
E6 usually means that there is a communication problem between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. This could be due to a wiring problem or maybe you had a momentary drop in the voltage. Find the circuit breaker in the circuit breaker panel for your home/office that is connected to the A/C unit. Turn it off and back on and try using the A/C again. Sometimes the indoor unit is connected to one circuit breaker and the outdoor unit is connected to another one. Make sure you have disconnected and reconnected both before running your unit. If that does not solve the problem you may need to have some cable replaced between both units.
