Question about Samsung - Galaxy Tab 2 7" 8gb Wifi
When I hold down the power button the screen will go blank and android will appear and says, "Installing System update....." it reaches between 31 to 35% before I receive my android laying down with ERROR. it then shuts off and brings up the logo.expresso7.jpg draw failed message-this is when USB is unplugged from the device. When device is charging with USB I receive the charging_7.jpg draw failed. results and this message remains turned on and visible for (at this point) up to 12 hours. I replaced the USB charger with specific product USB charger...any ideas or suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you
It sounds like the system image (operating software) got corupted and need to be re-installed. If you haven't got a backup image of your tablet, then you need to take it to a cell shop so they can re-install your OS (Operating System) software.

Have you tried the hard reset? Try these instructions for a hard reset:
1. With the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Power.
2. Release the Power button when you see the Samsung logo, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
3. Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
4. Press Volume Up continue.
The Galaxy Tab should then go through the hard reset process.

Galaxy Tab is not running on OS 3.0 (Honeycomb), that is running on the Xoom only. Samsung would have to release an update for your Tab themselves. Google makes it available and only Samsung can make that decision.

Try one of the following:
- Hold the power button for 10 seconds
- Hold the power and up volume for 10 seconds for recovery mode
- Hold the powe and down volume for download mode for 10 seconds
If none of these work then your battery might be completely drained and dead. I suggest you send your contact Samsung Support.
