Same question but for a Toro 3690

the oil used is 2 stroke oil---any brand ( not engine oil) as it has special additives that make the oil cling to the parts with out blocking the carby jets
next the ratio is normally etched on the fuel cap as 20:1 or the like
fuel can be the lower octane rating fuel but not e-mix fuels
a call to a toro service center or local mower shop will tell you what the ratio is ( could be 50:1 for a 25cc engine)
From experience I would say about 35:1 for a start and watch the oil smoke from the exhaust at rpms
no smoke seen is too light on the oil and smoky is too much oil
the correct ratio will be when you can just see smoke at rpms

Need oil to gas mix for toro 41 cc back pack blower

I run a 40:1 ratio in all my 2-stroke equipment, regardless of factory reccomendations. If you run a 32:1, you get excess heat and carbon build-up. 50:1, is too light of lubrication. 40:1 is just right! About 3.6 oz. per gallon of gas. I've had great luck with it for years! One of my blowers has been used commercialy for almost 15 years!

What is the ratio of gas to oil for a toro powerlite 98 cc Engine model # 38172

The manual can be downloaded from this webpage, you need the serial number to do this.

https://lookup3.toro.com/request/request.cfm?lang=uk_en

Two stroke engines usually use a 1:50 oil/gas mixture but it would be wise to consult the manual.

Hope this helps !
